"Everything was just perfect. The house is new, very beautiful and super clean. Comfy beds, big bathroom, fully equipped kitchen... Judith, the hostess, is very nice and helpful, true representative of icelandic population. We also rented the car, which is well maintained and worked perfectly for us. The location is great to visit the south of Iceland: Golden Circle, Landmannalaugar, Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River and even Skógafoss. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit...

"The check in was a smooth and easy process. There was construction going on around the property on the road which made things confusing, created detour. The room was nice but when other people left or entered their room it was really loud as the sound would carry- to the point it sounded like they were accessing your room. "We had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was cozy and had all the amenities needed to feel right at home. The design and little touches were so thoughtful and lovely. Really made for a special stay in Hella. The hosts were wonderful at communicating and really created a special little place here on their farm. "We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages."
