Description

Explore the astonishing Iguazu Falls by land and air, and take in some of the best views our planet has to offer. Visit a viewpoint on the Brazilian side of the falls, followed by a memorable helicopter flight over the majestic waterfall canyon.

Feel goosebumps just from the sensation of approaching the Paraná River and its massive canyon, formed by the force of water over the last 150 million years. The gorge's astounding waterfalls create one of the world's most unbelievable sights. As you stand at the viewpoint, you can feel the massive force and thundering sound of the falling streams, look out at a stunning landscape, and see bright rainbows often created by water from the park's highest waterfall, the Devil's Throat.

Just when you think the views can't get any better, your guide takes you to a helipad to begin your flight through the area. Admire the panoramic view of the awe-inspiring river canyon, including Devil's Throat and the Bosetti waterfalls, as well as the 3-way border that separates Brazil from Argentina and Paraguay.

What a view and what a ride. The pilot was very good. You should not hesitate to take this trip, I am a pilot and the helicopter and the pilot were top of the line, Take the plunge.

The helicopter ride in itself was great but the whole organisation was so shambolic, I was told at some point it may not happen

Life-time experience, breathtaking stunning views. I would just express some concerns about the safety on the flight - nobody explains you safety rules, pilot will not talk to you at all, ground staff pretty much useless. Don't buy their video, try to tape yours - I paid 20$ for short video showing us walking and boarding the chopper and that was all. There are stickers on the window forbidding to shoot camera outside of the chopper but people do it anyway and nobody explains them what will happen if their camera by accident will slip from their hands and felt into the rear rotor. It is likely only matter of time some accident will happen on one of "Helisul" choppers. I worked a lot with choppers in mining exploration and I know how strict safety rules helicopter companies use to have but this flight was likely the most informal chopper comercial flight I ever took.
