Oaxaca is recognized for the millenary culinary art that has been kept alive by tradition. In this experience, we will go to Etla traditional market, where we will obtain the necessary ingredients to prepare the recipes of the most traditional dishes and to try to preserve the quality and flavor. The dishes that will be prepared in this experience are dishes made from corn, chilies, seeds, cocoa and herbs prepared by “Tita” a traditional cook of Mixe origin with many recipes from previous generations… The menu will include: – Memelitas de chapulines – Memelitas de Huitlacoche – Egg memelitas with hierba santa – Empanadas – Mole – Chocolate de agua – Mezcal – Yolk bread – Fresh flavored water We will eat while listening to legends, tales or stories of Tita told in Mixe language and translated into English, at the end of the meal we will return to the meeting point which is the agency.
