We only saw the outside of the monument--very nice. If you want to ride the elevator up to the top you should request tickets on-line 3 months in advance (there were none available for the time we went because we waited too long to do this). It is only $1. It's free if you are able to get same day tickets.

Have to get there WAY early to get tickets if you want to go up, but other then that great! Wish they had a couple of online tickets available though.
