Cozy little bungalow!

A cute little house with beautiful features! The listing showed a car charger onsite, but that did not exist, which was not part of our plan since we had an EV and counted on the charging. Very clean and everything worked great!

Nice place!

Spent a lovely weekend here watching the tide cover and uncover the huge sandspit. Cozy, big couch and dining table, not a lot of kitchen counter space for cooking but enough. Same with the bedrooms -- mostly bed, so a bit hard to stash your luggage and clothes. Interior doors are all sliding pocket doors, including the bathroom, so bed and bathrooms may feel less private for some. Nice view of the beach, slightly obstructed, but from a 40 ft. high bluff. Convenient stairs. Great for kayaking the bay, though you need two nimble adults to carry and maneuver the bulky kayaks down the stairs. Covered entry with a table, porch swing and sink make a good outdoor/overflow space in warm weather.

Great location, cute and cozy

Overall this place is great. Kitchen is well stocked. It has a great beach vibe in the decor. We had only a two night stay but if we would have stayed longer it would have been nice to have a place to hang up/store clothes and suitcases. There aren’t closets and the bedrooms are very small with no room to place a suitcase open on the floor. We liked the location a lot especially the walkability of the beach. The listing includes the hide a bed in the count but there were no sheets or pillows for the bed. We had to call to get those and didn’t realize until later in the evening so had to do without the first night. We made do with some shams from the other beds and blankets, but those were in need of washing. With a little sprucing up this would be a five star spot.

WARNING: Before you book this property understand that under no conditions are you going to change, cancel or escape the $$ committed to the owner. Consider a nice hotel or more flexible vacation option before booking. We tried to change the stay and under NO way we had to go. Expensive mistake. Only deal with direct VRBO owner renters.

Cozy and clean

My daughter and I needed a place to stay for the night. Very last-minute travel change. There was no problem renting and was even allowed early check-in. This was very much appreciated as the weather was very wet. We were allowed access to the property immediately and we didn't have to find some other temporary shelter from the weather when we arrived in town. The house was perfect for our needs, was very clean and thoughtfully appointed.

Oceanview Relaxation

One word to describe our stay - wow! The view is just absolutely breathtaking from the second you walk through the front door, and that alone is enough for us to come back and stay again. On top of that, the house is so charming and was an ideal space for the four of us and our dog. The ambience of the home and of the scenery is perfect for a relaxing weekend. The home amenities were great, cleanliness was outstanding, and the house was everything we were hoping for and more. We were nervous about the comfort of the beds because we had seen a few reviews that said they weren't the best... but honestly, they were completely fine (maybe the pillows could use some updating is all). Overall, our stay was 10/10. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

Parking was an issue. The spaces are extremely short and do not accommodate a full size pickup. The spaces across the street are owned by the motel next door and are not available as stated in the listing.

Cute and modern bungalow

Calm vibes at the bungalow. Smaller than envisioned. Modern and soothing. Good views despite neighbors being super close on 3 sides. Had some ants gathered around a trap in the kitchen. Access to beach is close but steep and slightly rocky. We only stayed the weekend but longer stays may be difficult because there are no dressers or closets. Overall, a good place for the 5 of us and none of the issues are deal breakers so we’d likely stay again.

Wish we could stay longer! Charming place, square footage used efficiently and conveniently located. Appreciated having the bikes and kayaks! Only suggestion would be to place the planters elsewhere to allow for larger parking spots.

Lovely little home that was perfect for our family meet up. The living room /dining rooms were small but worked well to entertain my parents who came over to hang out with us. House was clean & dry. No mildew smell. We didn't get to use the outdoor area because of a big snow. Walking access to the beach, just down the hill. Bedrooms are very small & beds not so comfortable. Plus motion light on the building next door kept shining a light into both rooms on & off at night. But other than that had a wonderful time at The Bear Den!

Fantastic little cottage!

Great, seamless experience at this adorable little cottage! The remodel was lovely, and even though there are multiple properties stacked very closely, you still feel like you have all the privacy in the world. A couple of mentions that are definitely not deal breakers. It was very clean minus the trash from the previous guest still left under the kitchen sink, but nothing disgusting. There are no kitchen knives so we used our pocket knives. Again, no big deal. This was such a relaxing getaway for us. The view is amazing and the sunsets absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful view and easy beach access

This location has access to the best beach, and you can walk to tunnel beach from there. We loved watching the tides and sunsets every day. It was convenient to have dedicated parking. The bathroom was very well done - excellent shower. The one mattress in the room facing the ocean needs to be replaced - I think a couple of reviewers have mentioned that. Other than that - we loved the place and loved Netarts!

Birding

Lovely little home

Sweet little house, nice and clean, fantastic view! We had uncharacteristically great weather and this house is the perfect place to watch the sunset. My only complaint is that the mattresses were uncomfortable - almost wonder if the bed frame is broken?
