The three C's
Cosy, comfortable, and clean!!!! This rental is well maintained in a quiet location directly across from the bay. We brought our dog and the proximity to walking paths worked well. As well, the property had a fenced off area that allowed our small dog to roam around without fear of him leaving the property. Hosts were friendly but kept their distance which allowed us to feel at ease. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

Wonderful accommodation
Lovely decor, comfortable and charming, well equipped. Te Awanga was a delightful little hamlet and handy to larger towns and vineyards. Right near the beach. What more could you want!

Excellent accommodation
My husband and I have the most awesome stay, and what made it even better was it was dog friendly and all fenced off. The owners were amazing. It was very private, had everything that we needed, lovely and cheerful. We would certainly book again. Deb and Guy and Bailey (out little dog).

Te Awanga Gem
Te Awanga is a beautiful part of NZ. Location of property was incredible. It was fabulous to be able to have our dog be able to stay and was fantastic with the enclosed part for her. Only suggestion I would make would be for a BBQ to be added to amenities.

Perfect holiday spot
We had such a lovely stay here and it had everything we needed. Was a perfect location, being able to walk across the road to the beach for a swim was lovely. Providing the bikes was just awesome, was great to be able to bike to the wineries and shops. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Perfect getaway
What a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was very well equipped (including bikes, books and board games) and so close to the water! We loved this little gem and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a perfect getaway.

Lovely quiet spot with all that's required for a long weekend stay. Dog friendly with bonus of a fenced outdoor area. Clean, modern and warm. Hosts paid us a quick visit on arrival to check if we needed anything then left us to it with details of how to get in touch if required. We'll definitely be back again if we're back that way.

Perfect Location
Had two nights here and we couldn't have picked a better place. Clean, tidy, inviting, and the hosts went above and beyond. Dogs enjoyed the walks along the beach which is just across the road. Ticked all the boxes, highly recommend.

Back again
This was our third stay at Beach Daze and the second this year. That probably says it all. Katz and Jace are great hosts. This is a terrific place for a weekend stay, and if Flipper stays around, then it's even better.

Beach Daze is delightful
Our second stay here. Arrived late afternoon on a cold winter's day to find heater on and music playing: what more can one ask for? Very friendly hosts, very cosy place and well equipped. Close to beach and pub. Highly recommended.

A short break at Te Awanga
This apartment had everything and more. It was comfortable, clean and the beach is close. Our little dog was welcome and we felt very peaceful and relaxed. Would love to go back. We highly recommend this little treasure.

Short get-away
We enjoyed our stay in Te Awanga. Booking, communication, stay was easy. Thanks for letting us have the dog with us. Nice little park area straight across the road. The only thing we weren't a fan off was the taste of the water :) Would come back!

Great getaway spot
Great location for a couples getaway with plenty to see and do around the area. The bicycles were a great bonus and accommodation suited our needs. We had a fantastic trip and would visit the area again !

Great unit for couples on the Hawkes Bay coast
The facilities provided by Beach Daze perfectly suited us and being able to bring the dog along was fantastic. The location to the Hawkes Bay Coast and all that if offers was excellent. Vineyards, Cape Kinappers, Havelock North etc all just on the doorstep. Would recommend staying if in the area.

Lovely place ,Well equipped and tidy .Great Hosts .Toke our 2 puppies who love there beach get-away .Property could do with a fenced in area for small dogs .Otherwise had a great time

Great getaway for us and dogs!
Really enjoyed our stay in this cute property. We loved able to bring our dog with us and that it was so handy to a dog-friendly beach and to the cycle trails and vineyards. The communication from Kats was excellent and she had so thoughtfully included things for dogs like a gate and a dog bowl. Very much appreciated!

The most amazing beach get away
The property is beautiful with everything you need and only a short stroll to the beach. The beach house is clean and the hosts make you feel right at home so you’ll instantly relax. We highly recommend a stay at Beach Daze and we’ll definitely be back!

One of our top stays anywhere in the world and pre Covid we were regular international travellers. Kat made us welcome from the start and her recommendations were everything she promised. The truly unique wine tasting and grazing at Te Awanga Estate and the best “Eggs Bennie” at Hygge Cafe. Our old dog was comfortable and treated kindly by Kat & Jace. We just can’t praise these two hosts enough - a definite return place for us.

Seaside Getaway Spot
Loved the location with many options for holiday activities and interesting visits. Friendly and hospitable hosts who have added lots of artistic touches to make the unit homely and give it a beachy feel. The kitchen and bathroom have been stocked with many item you would not expect to be provided in a rental property. A very enjoyable experience for us.
