Location was perfect for our needs. Very small for 3 people, wasn't very clean. Paying for the location.

2 nd stay
Second time we have stayed at this property, cleanliness of room was much better thal last time we stayed. The grill had been used befor and not cleaned still had oil on it. Bathroom was cleane. Rest of unit good, bed and blankets very comefortable. Would stay again, unit2 a good unit overall. $70 clean fee would be ok if room cleaned properly, oven needs to be cleaned properly each time.

The location is great, and was a cute little apartment and worked for a family of four with 2 young kids. Only downside was it could of been cleaner.

Well equipped and great location.
The pre-arrival instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The unit was pleasant and well-equppied. Great location in a quiet street around the corner from a small shopping strip including 2 cafes.

Good location and room was nice. Manager gave the impression we were an inconvenience and had to chase them for information.

Comfy and relaxed. Perfect location.
We had a great stay at Ballantyne. The location is central to all the good things the unique area of Mosman has to offer. From restaurants, pubs and bars to Balmoral beach and the Sydney Harbour foreshore walks etc. The apartments are comfy and well appointed. We received good attention to our needs and would stay again.

Very well located close to the wedding venue we went to. Good enough for a night. Down side is the sofa bed our son slept in. The mattress is thin and worn down and has large springs. Two of them were broken leaving our son to have to sleep across the bed. He said it was the worse sleep he ever had. When undoing the bed, I felt the mattress and I cannot imagine how he actually was able to sleep in that. It is ridiculous, especially for the price we paid. Change the mattress! Also, the $70 compulsory cleaning fee is stiff and absolutely not justified. The appartement was tidy but, not spotless.

$70 cleaning fee but not properly cleaned.
An excerpt of a letter to the owner... It is with great disappointment that I write to inform you that our stay in unit 3 at Ballantyne Apartments, on Saturday October 13, was very unpleasant. Considering a cleaning fee of $70 was charged to my credit card before arrival, we were dismayed to find that the apartment was not properly cleaned; the bath towels had not all been laundered; there was a brown stain on the toilet seat that looked like faecal matter; multiple strands of hair were present on the floor of the shower. The bed was well made, however, the top sheet is old and needs replacing as evidenced by an unsightly hole in the material. I have attached photos of the above mentioned items. My partner and I were so upset by the conditions we found that we didn't have a shower. If it wasn't so late when we arrived, I would have refused to stay the night. Please reconsider your cleaning staff and processes. ...

Hi Paul, Thank you for alerting us to the issues in your apartment and appreciate the pics...we were as disappointed as you were. We have never had a problem like this before. We have alerted our cleaner who is usually very good. Also with the laundry...who advised the mark is rust stain. Ballantyne at Mosman are family run and we want our visitors to have a happy experience...we do hope you will come and visit us again in Mosman.
