Pool & outside area was really nice Swim up bar was great. Staff was extremely accommodating & helpful. The rooms & hallways smell terribly like mold. There was a leak in my bathroom ceiling & also the AC stopped working. Maintenance was called, he never ended up fixing it..I fell asleep in the midst of it all. I enjoyed my stay here, but they really need to remodel rooms/hall ways. I got a deluxe room and the smell was terrible, intolerable. My bed sheets were not the cleanest and I slept fully clothed. Very uncomfortable. I barely spent any time in the room. I’m not sure why these rooms are allowed to be booked. Someone needs to do something about this ASAP!

The rooms have not been renovated, the beds, TV and other furnitures are very old. Makes it difficult for TV to be watched as it’s not a smart TV. The food ordered at the restaurant was not quality. We ordered a burger and pasta with shrimps and both dishes were not good. The pasta had a very artificial flavor sauce similar to those sold in the supermarkets (Prego sauce).

This has become my favorite hotel in Santo Domingo. I use to stay at the Jaragua and the Embajador, but for the last 5 years, it has been the Domincan Fiesta. Stay on the Executive level, it is worth the extra few dollars. You get the full breakfast, which is excellent plus access to the 8th floor from 5 - 7 were beverages and food are free. The staff is excellent and very personable.

Arrived at 2am and was placed in a small box of a room with mold everywhere. The next day I was moved to another room king bed also lots of mold as well. I had to contact Expedia for help changing hotels. After 24hrs of being in the mold I couldn’t breathe my chest was completely congested and my husband was as well. We left 3 days earlier and checked into another hotel. Upon check out the hotel tried to charge me for the second room as an “upgrade” even though they switched it because of the pictures and videos of all the black mold. This is definitely a 1Star 2 at best!!
