Hôtel vieillot avec du cachet. J’étais seule et la chambre était très petite (les photos n’apparaissent pas sur le site), mais tout de même confortable. Très bien situé (boutiques, restaurants, transports, Panthéon, Notre-Dame…). Le petit déjeuner débute bien la journée. Les seules choses qui pourraient être améliorées dans la chambre : changer le tapis et descendre la télé qui est presqu’au plafond. Sinon, le lit était confortable et la chambre tranquille.

Amazing location for good price
Amazing neighborhood. Hotel is a converted Parisian mansion. This is not an American hotel. Great croissants in the morning, supermarket around the corner and amazing restaurants all around. 2nd time staying here , the first being the 10 years ago and I will still go back. Staff kind.

I loved our stay here, charning older building with a tiny elevator that works great! Right in the heart of town. In the morning we had the most wonderful breakfast waiting for us. Deliciois croissants, cheeses, and perfectly hot espresso. We do not speak French yet do needed help from front desk. He was helpful as he could be and not only got breakfast ready but helped my elderly mother wirh the luggage in the taxi. Wonderful stay. Thank you. Kimberly

Very sweet little property. I really love they tries to hold onto some of the historical elements of the site. Very convenient location for metro and walking with lots restaurants and sight-seeing near by. I will say yhat the room I got was not soundproof, despite being advertised as such. And the room I got was very very small for the nearly $200 I paid.

Paris Magic
If you are looking for a chain hotel with every modern amenity, this is not for you. But my wife and I have been coming back for over 30 years for the ambience, comfort, location, romance, and the croissants at breakfast, including this year's trip where we adjusted our time to visit Paris to accommodate being able to book a room here.

Excellent boutique hotel in perfect location.
Excellent location - quick access to two main metro stations (one directly to REF airport was just a block away). Tiny single room but turned out to be all I needed. Ample space in closet although no drawers. Desk attached to wall - two plugs for cell phone with adapter plug, nice shower and big sink area. Bathroom in it's own closet but you can't shut the door when sitting lol but no issue since I was solo. Asian man in lobby (worked front desk some days) - sorry I didn't get his name - was super! He gave me a small glass coffee cup for my instant coffee I brought (Cafe Francais) to have in my room instead of the paper cups with the coffee machine downstairs that was not on at night. He also gave me a bigger ceramic coffee cup at breakfast when he was working (and someone asked me why I got that instead of a little paper coffee cup lol). Would stay here again if I ever return to Paris (for the 9th time).

The hotel was recommended to me by a friend, a French friend I had met in the US. This has been my first trip in many years to Paris and the hotel and location were perfect for an inexperienced visitor to the city. As a legally blind person I was able to get around, find the bus to the Louvre, tok Matro all over and enjoyed the cafes and restaurants recommended to me. Thank you. Traudi

A charming hotel on a quiet side street in the centre of Saint Michel. As an added bonus, it is located on the RER B, so you have a direct Myron connection to CDG Airport, Gare du Nord and Gare Montparnasse (the two main train stations). The rooms are tiny (so is the elevator) but impeccable and full of charm. The 3 persons rooms are great choice for families

Hotel is charming but like most old hotels in Paris, the rooms are small. The location is amazing! Everything within walking distance. The breakfast was a bonus. The younger staff was friendly and helpful, the older staff were indifferent. The wifi and tv we’re unpredictable. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. Overall, a pleasant hotel.

This was such a little treasure. The design and Architect of this building was beautiful. There was a complimentary breakfast everyday. And it’s within walking distance to Notre Dame! Only small downside is the elevator is the tiniest elevator I’ve ever been In. Had to play janga with my suitcases.

This was the sixth time I’ve stayed at the Hotel du Lys, and it is truly an exceptional experience. The staff is helpful and personable. The location could not be better: a block from the St. Michel metro and RER stops, across the street from Notre Dame Cathedral, and a few blocks walk from The Louvre and Tuileries gardens.
