Position was perfect for train travellers. Staff very helpful. But twice someone attempted to enter our room without knocking, just put a key in & invaded our privacy… making us uncomfortable regarding security.

The property is in a safe neighborhood and the staff are welcoming. The room is very small, however it’s clean. The bathroom is ok but the door didnt have any lock. The breakfast buffet is very limited but fair to the amount paid.

Short break
It's location is great for almost everything, restaurants, bars, theater, metro etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fresh but basic, I say that compared too other hotels. It was satisfactory but not wow.

This was a very good property. If you are looking for upscale, this is not the property for you. Like many hotels in this area you should ask for a room in the back so you dont hear noise from local cafes that stay open till midnight. It didnt bother me. Great location, woth Metro one block away. Very quaint, good service and a sufficient breakfast available for extra $10.00. Although very basic. Great coffee and good Crossants. Loved the neighborhood. Clean rooms except the shower curtain was stain with iron. Felt very good about this property.

Great staff, location and property. The Central Hotel is a hidden gem. Literally steps from 3 different train stations and the main station (Gare Montparnasse) that has trains to Versailles and Mont St.Michel saved us hours and money in city traveling. Lively neighborhood that had restaurants open at 2 am but still quiet in the rooms. The staff was helpful and courteous - Jerome, Abdy and others (sorry don't have all names) at the front desk and of course Winnie from the breakfast room who was super helpful. The family double rooms we took were excellent as we got 2 large beds with 2 bathrooms for 4 of us, which made getting ready easy. We were traveling with another family and the front staff let us use the breakfast room in the evenings (when it was empty) to sit together and chat which made the week long stay more memorable.

My friends and I stayed here for four nights and loved it! The surrounding area, Montparnasse, had a great atmosphere and great dining options, and the hotel itself was very practical and offered a lot for its price. We had a triple room, which felt more spacious than we expected, and the staff was always very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed something. We always felt safe in the area and within the hotel itself. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel!

Their single room was simple but clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and super convenient (metro stations, bars, restaurants, shops, many tourists’ attractions are very close). The receptionists were friendly and helpful. It is not the cheapest hotel but I would recommend it to my friends and family without any hesitation!

The price wasn't so cheap but this was below expectation. cons: 1) wifi barely worked 2) toilet paper was very coarse 3) bed sheets and pillow case also coarse/dry, not soft 4) bed mattress itself quite hard, not very comfortable. 5) could not get the AC to work properly 6) would not give us a second room card pros: 1) location was pretty nice. 5mn walk from tube (which was itself a direct line from gare du nord) and loads of restaurants/cafes/bars in the area. 2) let us check in late/ leave our luggage there after check out 3) only one of the reception guys was a bit grumpy, everyone else was nice. 4) water was hot/ pressure was good.

Great choice for stay in Montparnasse
East to find, close to metro and in lively area. Staff was very friendly and that was so much appreciated. Very clean room, no surprises, this is a great option for an affordable, safe and clean Paris hotel.

well located
The hotel is well located, just behind Montparnasse tower, with easy access to subway and walking distance to montaparnasse neighborhood. The hotel is clean, rooms are small but good enough. Ground floor rooms are a bit noisy from reception/waiting area. I thought the top covers of the bed to need a little cleaning.
