The staff is great and the room very clean, though the room needs a lot of work. All of the paper blinds are torn, the bed is super uncomfortable, pillows are flimsy, the shower is small, cheap, and leaks in three places, the tap is loose at the base, no wash cloths available, the curtains are not wide enough nor close enough to the windows to keep any light out. Overall, it is way overpriced for the cheap-feeling accommodation provided. We would not recommend this hotel, but would totally recommend their awesome restaurant.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at while travelling. The location was right next to the main market square, walkable to everywhere, while also very quiet with the windows closed. The included breakfast was amazing - wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and plentiful. The staff were all exceptional and the room was modern, spacious and clean. Honestly, I don’t know how you could improve on a hotel stay experience like this one.

This was our second stay at Hotel Five. Very friendly service, breakfast incl. has lots of options and is delicious. Rooms are spacious, have a small fridge, coffee maker, will be cleaned daily if you want, very clean. The location even being in the middle of the city is quiet, most attractions: castle, Albrecht Duerer Haus, Market Square, St. Lorenz Kirche, Frauen Kirche, are in walking distance. Hotel Five has a great Restaurant also, but lots of other are within walking distance (one should make reservations for most). I would stay at Hotel Five again.

My room was clean and comfortable. View not so great, but it was in the middle of the city. Restaurant staff manage the hotel front desk. I prefer a 24hr reception. All in all a good hotel in the centre of old town for one nights visit.

Cozy ,clean, spacious, modern room , good water pressure, walking distance to many tourist sites, close to the market square, great choices for breakfast, delicious food, fast service, thanks to the young gentleman at the restaurant, very polite and helpful. Definitely will stay here again!

I spoke with Expedia prior to my arrival and had to change my reservation from two days to one day. I was assured that the second day would be reimbursed and I would not be charged becuase I had paid for protection plan. When I arrived the hotel still had me reserved for two days which they were glad to change to one but I have not received any reimbursement of credit to my account and this is wrong.

Nice hotel, great location. Breakfast was great and staff very friendly. One issue, for some reason one night around midnight I could hear a vacuum cleaner going for some time keeping me awake. Other two nights were much better.

Very easy and comfortable business stay in the middle of town. The staff were especially helpful with a late check in and food before they shut the restaurant

Great Place to Stay!
I was very happy! Good Things: (1) Very comfortable bed (2) Very centrally located one block from main square in old town (3) Very quiet (4) Mostly friendly service, especially Angela (5) Best breakfast ever! They are a restaurant and they quickly bring you any number of dishes off the breakfast menu you can eat. Minus: (1) The rudest server I hve ever encountered - he yelled at me when I tried to have dinner and said "Excuse me, can I have a menu please" in a nice tone of voice. literally yelled at me. Then yelled more, saying the table was reserved, but there was no reserved sign, just something that said (in German, not English) "Would you like a free table?" That is not a reservation sign and the property needs to improve this to stop future problems !!! But I could not let that one horrible person ruin what was a great stay though I advise avoiding him.

The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. New, modern shower with fancy soaps, and comfortable couch. The location is amazing! center of Nuremberg by the market, still felt quiet and private. The cafe for breakfast was the best part!! I have stayed many places in Nuremberg, I would highly recommend Hotel FIVE for any single, business, or couple traveling. Not ideal for families with active children, though, few amenities and not space for running around.

I was so surprised and VERY pleased with this hotel. I booked it because it was close to the market but ended up loving it. I see this place as a merge between a B&B and a boutique hotel. My room was massive -- and not just by European standards. As was the bathroom. I would stay with you for sure if I'm ever in Nuremberg again. I also LOVED the restaurant, Five Diner. Excellent service all around!

The location of this hotel can not be beat. I was here for the Christmas Market and it was right outside, but not to worry, the hotel is very quiet. The staff bent over backwards in getting me an early check in and a very early cab ride to the airport which is not too far away. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean and the included breakfast is superb. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Christmas Market visit - American travelers
Expensive for last minute booking very close to Christmas Market. Amazing location, very clean, very nice & helpful staff & very good breakfast that was included in hotel stay. We learned that European hotels provide a fitted sheet and comforter and those that provide body wash instead of bar soap, do not provide a wash cloth. Americans used to both a top and fitted sheet and a wash cloth should consider packing your own.

Location couldn’t be better. Minutes walking distance to all the sights. Great price, delicious breakfast and loved the products in the bathroom and the free homemade jam they gave us on departure. A great choice!!!

Fantastic small hotel
This 16 bedroom hotel with huge bedrooms and decent bathrooms is great if you want a central location. However the neighbour is NOISY and so are the bells on the local church. Bar and restaurant are really good and cheap.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even the church bells ringing every 15 Minutes on Saturday couldn't spoil our stay. Beautifully clean and spacious modern rooms. Great location, close to restaurants, shopping the old town and the castle all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Great little hotel. Friendly staff, parking for check-in a little difficult (they have a parking garage a couple blocks away, but little parking in front of the hotel). Room was nice, but the angles of the ceiling were quite low and a bit hard to deal with, hit head several time. Restaurant/bar is part of the hotel which made things convenient. The location in the old town cannot be beat, everything you would want to see was within walking distance.

Great location, modern hotel, friendly staff
Good experience overall with modern hotel and great restaurant downstairs. One of the best breakfasts and the fact that it was included was a huge bonus. So liked it very much overall and location was really central to walking in the old town. Staff were friendly, although a bit rushed at times also taking care of the restaurant. The only issue is that the shower was a slippery death-trap that leaked water everywhere. That could have been done better.

Great location in center of town. The nicest staff I’ve encountered in a long time! Lovely breakfast is included, plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. Only objection - no A/C and it gets very warm on upper floors. A room fan is provided but it’s noisy.

Amazing hotel! Spacious room, amazing views and sounds! Plenty of storage for clothes for an extended stay and the restaurant was amazing! Great service, food, beer, and breakfast being free is always an amazing thing! Will definitely stay there again!
