Some negatives but I’ll be back again!
I stayed at this lovely place for one night in a standard double room with en-suite. The bar is very good! Friendly staff. The views are extremely picturesque. The only things I could fault are: - The room was very cold when we got back in at around 11pm. - in the morning I went to fill the kettle up but the inside of it was smothered with mould!! So we had to go out and spend £6 on two cups of teas at a cafe☹️ Regardless, I will be staying again.

Nice room with sea view. Great location in central Newquay. No hairdryers available and no communal facilities except the bar.

Horrible place!
More students house than hostel.Lots of young people making noise at 3 am and slamming the doors of the rooms. Room was clean but very worn out with wall paper peeling off .As it was room on top floor could hear roof vent rattling all the time.There was no way to stop that noise. The only positive think about that place is -room 13 which we had has beautiful sea view.

I stayed at this hostel for 2 nights and it was a mixed bag to be honest, negatives 1st- confusion at check in which wasn't resolved even after i left 2 days later with my coupon used via Hotels.com, their should be better communication between the hostel and hotels.com and not upto the guest to do all the work, the staff themselves weren't overly friendly and seemed preoccupied with customers outside of the hostel rather than guests that needs to change, and although it was so called "freedom day" people weren't able to freely mix at the bar as was the case down the road. The room itself didn't have any AC or even a fan available which in a middle of a heatwave isnt ideal, and I didn't see any cleaner's clean my room in the 2 nights i was there as is the case in other hostels ive stayed at and on top of that their was no access to hire towels despite this being advertised by the hostel (Covid regs outlaw cleanliness!) Positives- 1 member of staff Tom was friendly and helpful and did his best to help even accepting my request to change to a lower bed, the views from my room were outstanding! and the location of the hostel perfect right in the heart of town, I would recommend this place but their is room for improvement if the hostel management take it on board and take this constructive criticism, all the best.

The staff on the ground floor were nice. There was sand and mud on the floor of shower room. No staff cleaned the room. Room service included adding toilet paper only. The vibe was cozy. There was not noisy in the “quiet room” (as requested).

The bedroom door was super loud and noisey. The shower was always damp maybe invest in shower mats or wooden steps. The view was amazing to wake up to. It’s upstairs from the club so be warned only 2am music cuts off

The location of the hotel was amazing and the views from our room was the best you could possibly get. The room had some dents/scuffs around the room and the room wasnt clean really, when i walked aling the room my socks was full of dust. We was given a quilt which had stains on which looked abit like blood but cant be too sure. We had our own bathroom which was nice qnd clean but the main room itself wasnt that clean. We had a radiator in our room but it wasnt turned on and it was so dusty you could tell it hadnt been cleaned for weeks/months. The location of the hotel is amazing its so close to everything so you could just walk everywhere. We had continental brekafast provided to us which was basic. 4 selections of cereal and toast with butter or jam ham and cheese. It was enough for someone who doesnt really eat much or likes toast for breakfast. There was available options for a cooked breakfast but you had to pay extra for that. Overall if you dont mind cleanliness then this place is really good due its location and how cheap it was.

I stayed in for two nights and all the staff are very helpful and kind, also the hot food of the breakfast was very lovely and it was cheap too, so I highly recommend this place if you looking for short stay and cheap price then go for this one.

Don’t be scared
I was a bit dubious about staying in a hostel alone but I felt very safe and everyone was lovely. The staff were fantastic and George the manager goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and well looked after. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and everywhere was clean. Definitely recommend staying here! I will be staying again next time I go to visit my brother

St Christophers is a hostel above a lively bar/club in central Newquay. The views from the sea facing bedroom I was in were lovely but you will experience a bit of noise and exuberance from the clientele but this is only to be expected, especially on a Saturday night (lots of groups of girls and guys on hen/stag nights). Really nothing to complain about but if you are up and out before 9am you'll miss breakfast as this is the time that they start serving, most guest having gone to bed only a few hours beforehand! Very convenient for Newquay night life or for the great seafood served down in the harbour.

You CAN buy the view!
Staff friendly and helpful. Location could not be better. View over the beach and the harbour was a dream. Bed comfy. Modern TV (take media on a USB stick). Only down was the shower, but staff responded quickly to resolve the problem.

Top Lage direkt am Strand. Aufgrund des Hostels kann es aber am Wochenende sehr laut werden! Zimmer Nr.8 bit genügend Platz doch leider war einiges kaputt oder fehlte (Nachttische, Hacken für nasse Tücher/Badehosen, Fernseher). Die sanitären Einrichtungen waren mehr als simpel.

Bei der Buchung über expedia war nicht klar, dass ein Bett im Mehrbettzimmer gebucht wurde. Es gab somit auch keine Auswahlmöglichkeit zwischen gemischtem und Frauenschlafsaal. Das Christopher Inn war ziemlich gut. Es gab nur eine Toilette und 2 Duschen im 10-Bett-Zimmer und ein Bad mit Toilette und Dusche außerhalb vom Zimmer. In der Toilette im Zimmer war leider das Licht kaputt.

Hatze einen 10er Raum,zwar für mich allein,mit schönem Meerblick. Leider Duschen ohne Ekelgefühl nicht möglich (Haare). Schlafen vor 2.00 am auch nicht möglich,trotz Earplugs,da jeden Abend entweder Liveband oder DJ,der Bass wummert durch und durch;habe bis 2 am einen Platz unter freiem Himmel vorgezogen. Personal sehr freundlich. für Feierwütige sicher ok.
