Antonio was an absolutely amazing host! I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night but it was perfect! Huge room with kitchen, comfy bed, and authentic local cuisine! Antonio was extremely communicative before during and after our stay. He even sent us a long list of his best dining/coffee recommendations around Naples!! He is a superstar host and a beautiful, safe place to stay in Naples!! Thanks for everything, Antonio!

Great Location
Very modern room with small washer and counter smooth top stove and microwave. Very close to port to catch ferries. Only unusual part was its location in office building and not easily found with few identifying markers. Disappointed with dirty Naples, but beautiful along coast.

Lovely, clean and spacious apartment.
Lovely, clean and spacious apartment located right next to the Metro Station. Antonio was friendly and enthusiastic, and met us on arrival to check us in. He made himself available for us to contact him at any time, should we need any help or any recommendations for the city - which was a nice touch. Only minor complaint was that there was no room service on Saturday or Sunday, but this did not dampen our overall great experience.

We stayed in the Elite apartment for three nights in July and had a lovely time. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped. The terrace area is fantastic with comfortable seats and a great view across Naples Bay towards Vesuvius, a lovely place to sit and relax with a glass of wine in the evening! The apartment is in a great location, within 3 minutes walk of the Municipio metro station, which will get you to the main station within 15 mins and there are lots of good restaurants nearby and a supermarket five mins away. The airport bus drops off and collects directly opposite the apartment and the ferries to Sorrento, Capri and Ischia are also within just a few minutes walk. Antonio was incredibly helpful and friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome, even arranging an early check in for us so we didn’t have to drag our bags around in the heat all afternoon which was brilliant. Overall, I can’t fault Antonio or this apartment and would definitely recommend staying here.

The apartment was clean, beautiful and had everything you need. You can see Mt Vesuvius from the room. Antonio was excellent in providing info on the sites to visit and restaurants to eat. The only thing was the later checkin time. But there was a luggage storage facility just down the street at the port which was perfect. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Naples!

I am writing this "too late", but hardly because I did not enjoy my stay. The room with bathroom that I had was beautifully clean and well designed with good lighting. It is extremely "well appointed", including a well chosen assortment of items for small meals preparation, a nice round table with chairs, etc. The central location near the port was perfect for me. Good locks and position within an apartment in the building give good safety. There was some confusion and delay in being met when I arrived there, especially because I did not at that moment have a working 'phone. If you and our luggage have a wait, I would recommend sitting at the friendly little café next door.

My wife and I are pretty adventurous, but be prepared and know what you’re getting into. This is a perfectly comfortable small apartment. The washer is nice BUT there is no way to dry anything you wash. Air drying is almost impossible maybe because of the humidity from the sea. There is a towel dryer/heater which seems to do nothing, there is no apparent way to turn it on. The cleaning lady came on the first day before we even left the apartment, and exchanged our towels for us. On day 2 we left the towels on the ground but she never came. So we had to wash the towels ourselves which isn’t an issue but again, they were impossible to dry. This is a frustrating issue. Traffic noise was also excessive at this property. The walls are paper thin and the citizens of Naples communicate primarily using car horns, all through the night.

Dear Sir, Relais Castel Nuovo offers serviced apartments, towels and bed linen change is twice a week, how it is written on Expedia, only on request is possible a daily service. If you wanted a daily towels change you should have asked to our employee at the check in. Our flats are just renovated, all of them have soundproof walls, temperature and humidity air conditioning system, moreover our building has a southern exposure and Naples is famous for having a dry mediterranean weather. It is the first person that complain about humidity in our flats and I think the only one in the whole city of Naples. In our apartments there isn't a dryer but only a clotheshorse, how it is written on Expedia, if you pretend to dry your clothes in 1 hour it is not possible...

Dear Sir, thank you for the review. The elevetor costs 10 cents, but in all our apartments there is bowl full of 10 cents, that all our guests can take for free. "The Construction nearby" is an archeological site, the ancient phoenician port of Naples.

Great Value for money. We were surprised to see that we had an new spacious, modern, with fully decked out apartment on the 1st floor with Kitchen with microwave washing machine iron and all kitchen utensils etc.Great large bathroom So modern with window blind controls at your bedside,double glazed glass window. Central to the castle, main shopping streets, port and all the connections to Amalfir , Pompei, Capri and airport bus

Lovely apartment
Perfect place to stay for seeing Naples and close to shops and restaurants.Area very noisy but sound proofing from windows and shutter was good. In general, Naples is a port and ferry city. It is overcrowded, unsafe, filthy and should only be used as a stopping point before going to airport, or another Italian coastal location or island. I do not recommend staying in Naples. The staff at Relais Castro did not communicate together for check in. A man, who did not introduce himself, asked for our passports and then gave us keys. The apt. Is situated amongst other businesses in a older high rise. There are two apts. on the property and the door leading to them says “do not lock”. This made us feel unsafe. There is an 8 euro fee for tourists. The man who showed us the room was frustrated when I asked for a receipt for this payment. I talked to another man on the phone, who said it was something the government demanded. I finally received my receipt. My traveling partner and I did not stay in Naples as it did not seem safe. We traveled to another island and booked another hotel.

Dear Madame, define Naples a port and ferry city is ridiculous and you don't deserve an answer about that, you are talking about a Unesco World Heritage Centre, our flats are just in front of a Medieval Castle and a Phoenician Port. About our flats, of course the door of the reception are is always open cause it is 24 hour video surveillance area with concierge service like all the hotel in the word, probably for you wasn't enough to close the door of your apartment... At the check in we wait you in front of the building, we helped you with the baggage, sorry if we asked you about passaport and municipality taxes, 2 euros per day per person, how it is written on the reservation, maybe next time we can change an italian law to make you happy! We are just surprised you didn't criticize neapolitan pizza cause it is too hot!!!!

Nicely furnished studio in convenient location
This studio apartment is extremely comfortable and well appointed. It's also 2 min. away from the port, 15 min. by subway from the train station and 5 min. away from Teatro San Carlo, Via Toledo and other central locations in Naples. It has a small kitchen with a sink, a microwave and a small fridge, as well as a washing machine. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are very spacious. The only thing it doesn't have is a view, but for the price it is an excellent option.

Great place but hidden charges
The apartment was spacious, clean and a great location next to the port/Airport bus. Our plane was delayed so we arrived at the property at 8.25pm. I messaged to the property from the airport at 8pm to let the host know we were on the bus but received no reply. We were told we had to pay a late penalty of €30 as we were 25 minutes outside of the 3 hour check in. There was nothing in Expedia’s details to inform of this. We received no receipt but felt pressured to pay or we would not have had access to our accommodation. The neighbouring couple had tried to check in early and were not told of any penalty. Expedia sent a note to say our room was guaranteed for late check in. The place was nice but we feel robbed.

Dear Alli, thanks for the review, just I would like to remember you our check in policy, that it is clearly written on Expedia and on your reservation. Check in is by appointment only from 5 pm to 8 pm, if our guest arrive earlier they can use our baggage deposit, if they arrive later between 8pm to 10 pm, there is an extra cost of 30 euros for late check in.

Great location, and the flat was new and clean. However the description mentioned port views and a balcony- when we arrived and I asked about this I was told only the flat on the 6th floor have this. I found this to be false advertising. Also, there was a hair dryer, but the plug in the bathroom didn’t work so couldn’t use it there. The plug by the bed didn’t work either. The condition of the room and location made up for this, but make sure you know what the view is when you book.

Dear Sir, we rent different flats in the same building, some of them with seaview and others with a normal view. Each flat has a different names, different photos, different advertisment and of course different price, how it is clearly showed on our website and on Hotels.com. You booked a flat with a normal view without balcony and you got exactly the flat you reserved. Moreover the plug in the bathroom works well you just needed an adaptor, if you asked us we could help you. We are always interested on our guests reviews to improve our service but not in this case, it is not our fault if you don't know how to book a flat, probably when you booked you selected the wrong one and you don't know that when you travel you need an adaptor.

Beautiful, clean, modern, well-furnished apartment. Great view of Mt. Vesuvius and the port of Naples. Spacious terrace. Road noise from the busy street below, even up on the sixth floor, starting pretty early. The strange thing is that this is not a hotel. It's a set of apartments in an office building. No one is on site most of the time. When we arrived, no one was there so we had to call the number fortunately provided on the building directory in the building entranceway. Later when the electricity went out we had to call the same number. Someone called back promptly and directed me how to reset the breaker in the reception area. Quite an adventure.

Relais Castel Nuovo rents different seviced flats int he same building, we are not an hotel, check in is by appointment, usually we wait our guest at the entrance of the building for the check in but in your case it was impossible to contact you cause your contact details on Expedia were wrong.

Wonderful apartement near Porto Napoli
The Airport bus takes you 30 meter from room, which is clean, modern and comfortable. Right in the city center. Within 5 minutes walk you can find everything Italy is famous for - culture, fashion and fine dining. Definitely a to go place if you stay in Napoli.

Nice, modern, clean apartment located close to transportation. Walking distance to good restaurants. Difficulty checking in as the only way to contact the host is through email.
