20th Anniversary get-together
The house is beautiful and clean, with great hangout spaces: a dining area near the amazing kitchen, a comfy living room, and the patio. Checking in was a breeze, and the owner was responsive to questions during our stay. I hope to stay here again for future reunion-style get-togethers.

Guest House on Property too
This is an older home with a brand new kitchen. The house was fairly clean. The main bedroom was updated. The other two rooms were much older with older furniture. It would have been nice to know ahead of time of the other guest house on the property. It could be a nice for larger families.

Daisy & Her team were exceptional in their communicating & very helpful. I loved the placards on the walls & The kitchen area was warm and friendly and perfect for entertaining. We wish there was a few more towels & toiletries..wish there was some seating in the MBR. Since the bed was high, it was hard to sit down and get dressed. And we wish the beds and the other 2 bedrooms were larger for adult guests. Patio & Yard area was spectacular excellent for outdoor dining and gathering

Space for family
This property was in a descent area with plenty off things around to eat. The house itself was great with space to entertain friends we came to visit who live nearby. Backyard and outdoor area was a great area to have and the modern updates on kitchen really expanded the space. Plenty of amenities at the house and even a few items in fridge that we were able to use. I would recommend this to my friends and consider staying again if we go back to visits.

Don’t get too comfortable
I made the mistake of not reading through the other reviews before booking so I’d suggest starting there. The house is cute, the beds are comfortable, the patio is nice. It was 20 min to Magic Mountain and 20 min to Universal. But it’s true that there are post it notes all over the house reminding you to not do this and make sure you do that. Don’t close the bathroom door or it will fall off, don’t open the fridge next to the microwave, don’t use the A/C too much. The kitchen rugs are also taped to the ground with packing tape which was odd. I also made the mistake of assuming there would be shampoo and conditioner or SOAP like all the VRBO’s I’ve stayed at for 6 years. When we realized in the middle of kids baths and messaged the owner, they responded that it’s not required or listed under amenities. So just understand that this is purely a business to them and being truly comfortable isn’t possible when you’re worried you’re going to break a rule.

We apologize that you were upset there was no shampoo or bathing soap but we provided many other items for you. We put the signs because we want to make sure the house is well maintained and cared for so that we can keep it nice for all of our guests and most importantly your safety. We would not want you to experience a water or fire incident during your stay. We understand that it made you feel uncomfortable and were sorry about that.

Inaccurate location description
This property is not a 3 min walk from mission college as the listing states. You will get exactly what you see on the pictures. A remodeled kitchens, the rest of the house is dated and not well equipped for stay. One of the bedroom has two random beds and not real door, the top and the bottom are cut off- so much for privacy. There was no ironing board and the iron was extreme old. There were card board handwritten notes/instructions all over the house. It felt very uninviting and very careless, common use a printer if you must leave us instruction under each light switch. All and all the stay was ok.

As for Mission College, we never posted anywhere that we are a 3-minute walk. Mission College is about a 5-minute drive. We wish you all the best.

This house was perfect for a family getaway. The yard was large and gorgeous with lots of things for the kids to do. The outside dining and the indoor kitchen were stunning! It was perfect for our stay.

Nice updates, but not as described (NO HOT TUB!!)
The property was nicely updated and spacious, but we were disappointed that there was no hot tub (but it was listed on the website) and there was a long list of cleaning tasks upon checkout. We messaged the manager when we arrived about no hot tub (why was it on the listing?) and damage in one of the bathrooms, but never received a response. The manager ignored our message and even took time to remind us about the long cleaning checkout tasks (strip all bedding and start a load of laundry, remove all trash, start dishwasher, turn of all heat, etc). They did not even acknowledge that the listing was inaccurate. I think they meant the house had a BATHTUB, but it was hot a hot tub (which are outside and a big selling point for people staying). This entire thing could have been avoided with an accurate listing and a response from the manager.

Hello Brittany, we never posted that we have a hot tub. I am so sorry for the confusion. This is something that has never come up. There is no jacuzzi hot tub on our property.

What an amazing house and host. Kitchen was fantastic. We were all on a working trip and there was plenty of workspace for all of us. I feel guilty that we didnt utilize the outdoor space because it was lovely. Comfortable beds. Comfortable space. Great communication from the host and impeccably clean. Next time I'm in this area, definitely rebooking.

I nice worm house
The location was nice and quiet. We felt like being at our house. The owner was quick in responding to messages. One thing though, the spa was in the bathroom for some reason I thought it was going to outside like a jacuzzi type. But everything else was good.

Perfect home for our holiday
We are a great stay at Daisy’s beautiful home! We were visiting California with our family of 7 to celebrate our sons 8th birthday at Universal Studios. This home was the perfect location for us away from the busy and expensive Hollywood area. Highly recommend staying here!!

We had a couple plans over the weekend we visited at the beginning of June and the location was great for where we had to be. The kitchen is recently remodeled so that was a great room to hang out with family. The rest of the house had little notes on paper towels with special instructions especially for light switches not sure if it's the price that makes up for it but it would've been nice to have arrived without having to use our flashlights after the main switches weren't working, maybe by now that's been fixed though to make the stay more enjoyable not worrying about what to look out for especially with little ones.

Clean with everything you need
The kitchen clearly sells this place. The remodel was a wise choice. It is also supplied with everything needed (and then some) to be able to cook your meals rather than go out. The owners suit mattress was firm and comfortable. Felt rested upon waking. Nice neighborhood in the area we needed for a football competition.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this new home . The neighborhood is very nice and the home is 5 minutes from 210, I-5 and 405 freeways . We were back and forth to Hollywood, Orange County and Santa Clarita so a great location for all . The kitchen is positively stunning and the back yard was a great place to hang out and decompress . Highly recommend this property

just what we needed
we needed a place to stay that was close to wedding festivities... we rented the main house and the back casita... would have been nice to have a discount when renting out the whole property at the same time. but that request was denied. it was easy to get in/out of the property, well kept, and we loved the kitchen... there were funny little signs written on paper towels all around the house, but we're not picky... it was just what we needed for the price.

Sweet So Cal home away from home
This spacious home was the perfect spot for our group of six. Centrally located for our particular goals east and west; freeway access in any direction was a breeze. The kitchen is amazing (!) and the lounge/living space made for fun times and relaxation. Naturally, all homes have their quirks - steps up to the front door and down into the kitchen are unexpected, some light switches and their matching fixtures are tricky. We were surprised by cold weather, but managed to sort out the heating system and found it to be quite efficient. All in all, a great place to stay!

Great home for families, unexpected stairs
We stayed here for a week so my disabled mom could have some time to visit with loved ones in CA since we now live out of state. The home is beautiful, it has all the amenities you'd need, a beautiful kitchen, and plenty of space for a family get together. I point out that she's disabled because the one and only complaint that I had was that the fact that there are steep stairs in this home, that are unavoidable, with no handrails. It was somewhat dissapointing as the steps aren't featured in the pics (other than an obscure image of some of them in corner of one pic which i didn't notice when we booked the house). We managed to make it work with some difficulty though I do wish the steps would have been featured in the listing. There are steps to enter the home and more steps once inside to get into the kitchen/ dining room. The house is PERFECT for anyone who doesn't have mobile issues though, and i would stay here again if my mom wasn't with me.

Couple suggestions
This house was beautiful and in a great location. I do have a couple suggestions, I think you should let people know in the description of the house that there could be other renters who could be renting the guest house at the same time because we felt that we couldn’t go in the backyard. Also the master bath room door should be fixed. I know I like totally privacy when I am in the bathroom and having to leave the door open 4 inches do not feel very private. But overall I would totally recommend this home.

We had a great Christmas trip to LA to be with family. This home added to that vacation tremendously. Very clean, very up to date, safe, plenty of parking space and easy to get around from. You will not be unhappy if you select this home for your stay in the San Fernando Valley and the original Suburb of LA.

Great place to hang with family when visiting family
We came to visit our family for Christmas and my entire family lives all over town. This was the perfect place to have a family potluck/dinner. Although the kitchen is fabulous to anyone who loves to cook, it was easier to have a potluck. The outdoor patio is wonderful for the adults to chat while the kids played in the yard. Highly recommend. My kids are 10 and 12 and they loved the place. Comfy, clean and roomy.

Amazing Experience!
We had an excellent stay. The kitchen is amazing! There is a large backyard with heaters. As noted in the listing, you may see other guests walking through the back area to access the guest home at the rear, but this wasn't really an issue. The home has all that we needed including games.

Amazing, quiet, relaxing location & stay
I have travelled and stayed in a lot of houses and I always find them lacking in some way but In daisys home everything you need to cook, clean, entertain or otherwise is there and all appliances are top of the range. It’s a really quiet peaceful location which is rare for L.A and only 1 min to local grocery or walgreens with a fantastic view of the hills to your left as you walk out of the front of the house. Thanks again daisy and hopefully we will return soon.

Universal Studios Getaway
We were looking for a house close to Universal Studios, once I seen this kitchen I just had to get more info! Daisy was very quick and knowledgeable with her responses. She was a pleasure to work with in booking this property. The house was beautiful and exactly as advertised. Read the description carefully!
The property was nice but make sure you read the description. There is a guest house on the property and guests were staying there both nights. Seeing them coming and going was a bit off putting and the entrance used for the guest house went right through the great outdoor patio area. Needless to say, we felt awkward about using the outdoor area and stayed inside rather than enjoying the covered patio. I learned a lesson that you need to carefully read the description of the property. Having other people traipsing through the area you thought you rented really puts a damper on enjoying the house you rented.

Hi Jennifer, I am sorry this was not clear. I always make it a point to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have only had one other guest mention this as being an issue. I agree that if you are the type of person who would feel uncomfortable with the back house guests walking through the side patio, this is not the home for you. However, I have not had any complaints from others. There are no interruptions from the back house guests. Everyone has been extremely quiet and respectful.
