The ladies that run the office are terrible. Very rude. The first room we were given had dirty towels from the previous tenants and food food on the floor and bugs in the sink in the bathroom. They then moved us to a second room and one of the beds broke when we went to lay down in it. Basically when this was brought to the attention of the people running the office we basically got kicked out of the hotel at 2 o’clock in the morning because they didn’t wanna come and fix the situation. We then went down the road in for $20 more a night we stayed at the Crowne Plaza and it was amazing. Would not recommend this place to anyone. To be honest it should be shut down

Budget Place
The location of the motel was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was shabby, the refrigerator was rusted and would not sit level. This would not have mattered too much if the room had been cleaner. Floor was sticky with cleaning ? product. Moulding and walls were dirty, especially around the light switches and door hardware. The best part of the stay was the Cuban restaraunt in the parking lot. Fantastic place to eat, very busy, great vibe good service

When I arrived the entire tiled floor was wet with condensation. Several electrical outlets in room would not work. The worst was no hot water on second morning; in the middle of winter. Never stay here.

This was horrible! It smelled of mildew. There was a dresser with no drawers. There was huge amounts of hair in the shower and I placed my purse on the bed and the entire bed collapsed. Immediately went to the service desk and requested a refund and state at a different place. Awful!

The Atlantic Inn is nicely located across the street from the beach. We checked in after hours and used the lock box to access our room key as pre-arranged. It is a good place to stay for the money

Advertised there was a pool which there was not. Asked for extra bath towels as there were only 2 in the room and it was 100+ outside and the front desk person who was not at all friendly asked us to bring our 2 dirty towels to her before we could get clean ones. Air conditioner only blew out air on one side of the vent as the other side was full of dust. We were told the maintenance person would check in it but no one came to look at it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

2nd stay. Adequate hotel for a quick beach stay. Beds are comfortable Rooms are clean. Some rooms have been renovated. The last one wasn’t. Smelled musty. Required $10 key deposit but no one available on checkout to return. Be prepared for cigarette simile smell on checkin.

We’ve stayed here a number of times as it is close to family, but affordable. Will have to strike this one off the list. Hot water was not regulating properly out of the shower. It would be turned on warm, and would be freezing for a few minutes. 5 minutes later get scalding hot, and then cold again. Had to take cold showers so we wouldn’t risk burns. The owner comes in, and says he’ll get a plumber to come out. Told me he couldn’t switch my room. Went the whole weekend like that. No offer of a discount, or anything to rectify the problem.

God damn hot garbage.
The room wasn’t what I ordered I ordered And paid for a king. I got There and it was two doubles. When I went To the front they would only talk to me through the door. Said they don’t have any kings available. I said I booked This a week ago. They said he happy with what you got. I said Well there’s clearly a pay difference. She said no fee change no refund. Tough luck. The shower had mold. I asked For extra towels she said “ you already have two” I asked For a blanket they told me no blankets just turn the ac up.

Staff was incredibly nice. Room left a fair bit to be desired. My hubby found a metal L bracket poking out of the bed with his shin (ouch) the room was ok. We have seen worse, the sugar ants were in full swing on any table or surface that we set things on. The shower was cold and barely trickled out. We found there is no ice machine on site… but the mini fridge was spacious, bed was clean and the towels are a generous size so I didn’t feel like I was drying with a kids towel.

This is a basic room place. Nothing fancy here - that said it is very clean & the rooms had clearly been recently updated. Shopping & dinning is walkable and the very best part is the beach is a stroll across the street! You pay $200 more a night at one of the bigger hotels across the street so this place was a steal!

What we paid for
The place is old and run down, but not unexpected for the price we paid. Biggest complaint was the tile floor was pretty dirty. Feet got sandy and turned black from walking barefoot. Water temperature in shower would not regulate. Either too hot or cold. I went with cold. The wifi was pretty bad. No excuse for that now days. Beach was right across the street. Parking was good and location was convenient to stores and restaurants.

I did not like ANYTHING about the motel. No ice machine, BARE essentials in the room, holes in the walls, broken light fixtures by the bed, dirty exposed plumbing under the sink in he bathroom, exposed circuit breaker box with a door that did not shut. The employees were unkempt, and basically looked like homeless people. The "lady" at the front desk screamed at me over the phone and was very surly when I arrived to check out of the motel.

Would have been ok had there been safety features
We arrived about 15 minutes to 3pm on Sunday and our first impression was that it was a basic beach inn. We had to be buzzed into the lobby so that we could be checked in. We were asked for a $10.00 cash deposit because we had a "different kind of key". Good thing we had the cash. We were given a regular key, not a card, and told we were in room 210.We should have ran then but continued onto the room to discover that our door handle was held on by duct tape. We open the door and the room was kind of decent. The flooring and bed appeared to be new. However the pleather chair was in horrible condition, you couldn't even sit on it. There was also no deadbolt or security on the duct taped door either. We decided to stay as everywhere else was booked due to the holiday. The owner/operator does not have the safety of their guests in mind. We survived the night, and left as soon as we got out of bed. It was defiantly an experience that I would not want a repeat of. Spend the extra and stay in a better inn, or stay mainland.
