Three day stay in May 2024. The first night, the thermostat burned out. It burnt a hole thru the actual device on the wall and smoke and burning smells filled the room. This happened at 330am. We had to open all the windows and leave the room, when there was no maintenance to repair this issue. The smoke detector did not go off and it should have in this case. That was also just as surprising as the thermostat melting on the wall. We went to the manager who after an hour in the lobby got us another room at 430. We had to repack and unpack our bags etc. . No upgrade or willingness to refund us the nights. Manager stated each room was owned individually and so they didn’t have the ability to refund us for the stay other than hotel amenity fee charges worth $150. No offer to place us in a neighboring hotel, cited they don’t have relationships with them. Absurd! Literally inhaled burning plastic for 1/2 hr and nothing was done or reached out to us to ensure our stay was corrected or comped for the poor visit. Eventually we did get acknowledge that there was an issue but not during our stay, as we were checking out. There was not decent comp for the experience and management was not true hotel management, it was below average staff that seemed challenged by several simple client requests that we witnessed while awaiting support. Disappointing as this hotel was once superb a decade ago under Marriott company. pool and spa are not well maintained, lack of maintenance.

We had a lovely stay. Originally we were only going to stay one night but ended up staying the weekend. I stayed with two children and found the staff to all be very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and updated. Nice pool and perfect location. The reason to stay here is most definitely the wonderful staff. They handled may different types of groups and demographics with ease. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Perhaps checking in on a Monday contributed to this, but my room was upgraded to a room so nice I felt the gods had smiled upon me. The bathroom was the size of my living room in New York. The espresso machine was so high quality. I had a kitchenette with pots and pans! I ordered in Instacart, put my items in the very nice mid-size fridge, and was very happy. I had two thermostats! Separate climate control in the bedroom and living area. Great water pressure in the shower. A , no notes!

We recently stayed at this hotel and will definitely make a return trip. The first person we met at the front desk was Alicia and she was awesome. She was professional, efficient, and very polite. The facility is just what we wanted and the location is perfect for walking to some of the nearby shops. Our room was extremely clean and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. Again, will definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself and my room was amazing but the property staff are the most rude people I’ve ever encountered. If great customer service is a big deal to you, then this isn’t the best choice.

Randomly picked this hotel in a hurry due to an unexpected travel delay in FLL on our way to St. Croix. The airline (Spirit) claimed it was due to "weather" (IMO, this was Spirit's code for flight consolidation, as I saw no Sigmets along the route). Serendipitously, the property was surprisingly upscale and right across the road from the beach. Room was large, quiet, and had a small balcony to enjoy the view and sound of the waves. Note that the property is on a very busy road, so expect some traffic noise. Still, traffic was a minor issue considering the hotel's amenities like a pool, spa, poolside bar/restaurant, etc. I think they may even supply beach chairs. Property was well kept and updated. Pool area was quite nice with bar/food service and friendly staff. Ocean view from the pool was an added bonus. Overall, the hotel was just average for housekeeping and cleanliness. The pool bathrooms/showers were not well cleaned or maintained. The gym seemed adequate. There was a small spa on site that wasn't overly busy - though we didn't have enough time to use it. Food was simple fare, but decent, tasty, and not overpoverpriced. I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was very good. In sum, our unexpected travel delay was quite bearable and even surprisingly enjoyable because we were fortunate enough to book this excellent property. Would definitely stay again - just longer to fully enjoy the beachside location and amenities.

Really enjoyed my mini-vacation. I would recommend this for others, especially for a couple's getaway. Property is starting to show its age with some wear and tear on things like furniture, refrigerator seal, etc. Staff was generally very nice and helpful. Be prepared for prices - everything costs more at the beach - "resort fees" and parking are over priced (everywhere). Having a kitchen in the room is nice - can grab a snack or drink and hang out on the balcony without having to wait at a restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. The room was huge and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in front of the beach and next to so manny restaurants with a walking distance. The pool area was lovely, so peaceful and quiet even thought kids are allowed. The hotel smelled so good at all times and everyone in the staff was so nice. We also got to enjoy the restaurant in the hotel which had amazing food, totally recommend it. We will return here for sure.

We had a nice partial view of the ocean on the 12th floor, but this hotel isn’t amazing beyond its location and access to the beach. The room offered no robes, our ice request was delivered in a plastic bag, and even though it had a kitchenette, there wasn’t a place to sit and eat together so it felt awkward. The pros were cleans were refreshed everyday. The staff was always nice. We never went to the pool, or the hotel restaurant/bar and avoided the beach chairs for 20/pp.

Highs: Robert the hotel porter/bellhop is amazing! Wonderfully outgoing personality and super professional. The bartenders and waiter at the pool and SkyBar especially Faustino were great. The beach is ultra-clean and beautiful. Mids: Front desk staff were professional but not very friendly, warm, or welcoming. They told us we’d get a call as soon as our room was ready but we never did. Nice pool but very few umbrellas. Lows: No ice bucket in room. You have to call front desk for ice and we had to wait 50 mins.

What a spot! Great location with fabulous views of the beach. You can walk to many coffee shops and restaurants. The rooms are big with comfortable beds and a convenient kitchenette. The restaurant was good and having a mimosa with a view was a bonus! We encountered a few notable staff who were kind, wonderful, efficient and very helpful: Robert (concierge), Nikki (housekeeping) & Faustino (server by the pool). These three people really made our stay comfortable. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

We ve been coming to this hotel for many years. It is very nice, clean and conveniently located. But like everything else in society you feel that things are deteriorating slowly but surely these days. Every day there is something missing. One day the towel/chair guy on the beach forgets to show up for work. The other day he shows up on time, but the towels are half an hour late. Next day he is in bad mood. One day, no room service in the morning while we were out. You might say these are details, and you would be right. Overall we had a nice stay, and we will come again.

Safe & you’re directly across from beautiful beach…not one to complain but my only issue was loud dripping shower…staff should not have put anyone in this room until resolved

Let’s be clear, this is a nice enough hotel, but it is NOT a resort. Your $45 resort fee is for a gym and a pool which many hotels have without that fee. In theory you should also get two beach chairs unless it rains in the morning. In our case, the sun came out in the early afternoon and the front desk said we could get chairs at the beach but when we got to the beach the chairs were all locked up. I called and the person who answered I for me that the third party they hire to handle the beach chairs went home and they weren’t coming back. I was told I could call that third party company if I wanted to! Also the spa charges $50 for a day pass to use a tiny hot tub and sauna and it closes at 4:30. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious and clean and the ocean view on the balcony is beautiful and Robert the Bell Hop was the nicest person on staff. The restaurant is also good. We had to ask for towels at the pool twice and it generally seemed understaffed.
