Nice economical hotel in a good surrounding. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a stay without big dent to your pocket.

Nice lovely hotel!
It's nice lovely small hotel. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for this hotel.

A total surprise - value for money
+++++ Tram station right outside the hotel few stops from the city center, very quiet and very clean, however, I'm not a fan on the size of twin/single bed and the bathroom was very small.

Excellent hotel within 20 mins U-Bahn journey of Dusseldorf Town Centre. You do not need to wait more that 10 mins for a underground train with direct interconnect from main railway station. U-Bahn stop in 1 min from hotel on other side of square. Room was clean, tidy and breakfast was excellant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel has facilities to store luggage for pick up later on day of departure. I stayed for 5 night for xmas market and sight seeing and hotel was very reasonably priced.

The front desk staff was unfriendly or more kind of very grumpy when we checked in. When we went out and came back on that night we ran into her again, we thought we might read her wrong so my partner tried to greet her and she was totally ignored us. However when we gave our feedback in the morning to another staff he was very appologetic. A little smile to check-in guests would make a big different to their stays.

Smal and Friendly Hotel
Situated just opposite a metro hop this lovely hotel was well positioned for a short break to Dusseldorf. The hotel staff were very helpful and informative and the rooms were well apportioned. The breakfast buffet was excellent and very well managed. A few tram stops away is a lovely castle and gardens which are worth taking a picnic to. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to recommend to others willing to move a short tram journey away from the city centre. There are a number of restaurants and take away food places locally as well.

A nice stay at this hotel but disappointed that no tea or coffee making facilities in our room. Breakfast was good and a variety of meats, cheeses and wonderful fresh crusty rolls. Also lovely coffee.

This hotel is extremely affordable. It is clean and comfortable. Kind of a quirky old building which adds character. For the price, you get great value. My only complaint is the parking, you have to walk about 10 minutes away to park your car. Still, I would stay here again for sure.

Good historic hotel in an ideal location for us, train links outside and a great balcony room for us, fit a family of 4 with ease and the 2 separate rooms were great.

The staffs are very nice and helpful
One night, I went to lobby and worked. The staff was very kind. He kept asking me everything okay and do you need any help? When he noted me I want to drink tea. He turned on the boiling water machine and asked if I want some chocolate. After 2 mins, a little box of chocolate put on my table. With a hot tea. I can work relaxingly. Thanks for caring services.

AWFUL, UGLY, UNFRIENDLY, LOCATED FAR FROM ANYTHING
THIS HOTEL WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Everything was so old, nothing worked. The shower would not get hot, the Elevator didn't work properly. The attendant at the front desk was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The description said that this hotel was close to the airport and old town. I had to take a taxi to this location, which cost over 40 us dollars . It is far away from anywhere, and the photo was misrepresentative of the property. The hotel looked NOTHING like the photo. I was so unhappy, I chose not to stay. I had the property booked for two days, and they would not refund my money. it was horribly expensive.I had to pay 180 us dollars for a taxi to drive us to the airport to leave Germany.

Friendly Hotel sadly a 30 Minute walk to the S Bahn. The area is a bit run down and the only Food available in the area is Kebab or Pizza. The Hotel is clean and tidy if a Little dated and the lift didn't work

Good value. for the room which was very clean & comfortable. Niggles:- However, there is no kettle provided in the room for tea/coffee which I think is a major drawback. The buffet breakfast selection was very good but the water for tea and coffee was lukewarm. Only herbal and Darjeeling tea bags provided. I missed a hot cup of proper strong tea (eg standard English Breakfast or Assam tea) If you are not bothered about not being able top get a hot drink at all, a good choice. I

Nice hotel and friendly staff. The problem was the WiFi which was practically non existent. I moved room to be nearer the router but no better. If I was just on holiday it wouldn't have been an issue but I chose the hotel because they advertised internet in rooms and I had loads to do for work.

A nice hotel
This hotel was not hard to get to from the main train station but it really out of the way if your destination is Dusseldorf. The breakfast was excellent, the main highlight. The room was clean and comfortable and good for a one night stay. There wasn't anything to do outside the hotel, so it was really just a quick stay.

Not the Dorchester but good value for your money
Everything I needed for my stay. The room was clean, the shower hot and powerful and the breakfast was excellent. The location is quite a way out of the city centre but the tramlines is 50 meters from the hotel, so an ideal compromise. It's a no frills hotel so don't expect it to rival the Dorchester, but if you want good value you won't go wrong. NB: Limited free parking outside the hotel, I was on a motorbike so no problem for me, if your in a car the hotel only has two free spaces and you may have to park several streets away to get your parking free if they are taken.

Great little hotel, Can't beat the price!
I stayed one night before returning to the US early in the morning from the DUS airport. There are hotels which are closer, but for $50 one can not complain. 24h reception, room was clean with TV and free internet. Breakfast was awesome!

Bei Ankunft in dem Hotelzimmer sind uns gleich die kaputten Möbel sowie die Flecken auf dem Teppichboden aufgefallen. Es stand ein Tablett mit einer Flasche Wasser auf dem Nachttisch. Die Gläser waren bereits vergilbt und das Tablett war sehr klebrig. Das Antennenkabel des Fernsehers war durchtrennt und einige Lampen funktionierten auch nicht richtig. Das Zimmer war sehr unhygienisch, sodass wir beschlossen haben gleich am Anreisetag wieder zu fahren. Der Kundenservice hat sich auch auf unserer Beschwerde hin nicht gemeldet und wir haben keine entschädigung erhalten. Deshalb empfehlen wir das Hotel nicht weiter.

Die sehr nette Rezeptionistin fand die Reservierung nicht. Nachdem ich die Bestätigungsmail vorzeigen konnte fand sie mich unter "no name". Die Badezimmertür quietsche so laut, dass der Mitbewohner aufwachte. Das Bett war direkt an einer Wand, so dass man nur über das Fußende oder über das andere Bett hinüber aufstehen konnte. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Düsseldorf werden wir ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Man konnte das Schnarchen aus dem Nachbarzimmer sehr laut hören. Personal top , Frühstück sehr gut , alles sauber . Mein Wunsch : mehr Personal , keine Ausbeutung.
