Our rooms are specifically designed to inspire people to drop off their belongings and head out to sample the local activities and businesses. We are a boutique hotel so we do cater to a certain clientele with our design and accommodation choices - I'm sorry if this wasn't the best fit for your stay. In addition to being a hotel and cafe/bar, we are also an event venue so we frequently have to close off a portion of the lobby to prepare and host events. Hi Barbara!Thank you for staying with us and for your review! I'd like to take a moment to address the concerns you mentioned. Due to our location in the center of Downtown, all nearby parking is pay-to-park. Our parking fee is set to compensate for parking with us from your check-in time to your check-out time which would be significantly more expensive if one opted for the city's parking meters on the streets. So while it seems a bit pricey, it actually is more convenient for our guests and cheaper for you too! I looked at your reservation and I see you stayed with us for three nights. Housekeeping provides stayover service after the third night of a multi-night stay. Your room didn't receive this service as you were set to check-out after your third night. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay overall and had a good experience with us, it is always our goal to provide a comfortable, restful, safe, and stylish place for our guests and I'm glad we hit the mark with your stay! I hope we'll get to host you again sometime soon!
