Exceptional Christmas Stay

Our family stayed at this property for 4 nights over Christmas and had a fantastic time. We were in love with all the facilities available and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of utilities/equipment/appliances in the house - especially the kitchen! We enjoyed the pool, along with the indoor & outdoor areas. Whilst the location is a fair distance from the city centre and beach, it has a beautiful running creek nearby and the Redlynch shopping centre isn't far. We did have some issues figuring out how to operate the stovetop at first, however soon realised it requires the right pans to turn on. One of the aircons was not working, however the host was great in helping & dropped off a portable AC the next day. Overall great experience and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing spot to get away.

Relaxing getaway

Our stay at Villa 31 was amazing. The Villa was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We spent most of our days in the private pool, soaking up the sun, cooking food on the bbq. The Villa was clean and spacious. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway with their partner, friends or family.

If anything, the photos do not do this place justice. On arrival, we went from space to space, amazed at how lovely every detail was. At first, we were a bit worried about the setup (two bedrooms in one 'wing', primary bedroom separate), but that was alleviated after the first night, with the central courtyard linking everything. The kitchen was stellar, but we cooked most meals outside on the grill. The pool was a bit cool at first, but warmed up for the rest of the week. While outside of Cairns, there's a shopping area about 10 minutes away with groceries, coffee shops, and other stores for all your needs. It's also a short walk (1km or so) to Crystal Cascades - definitely worth the visit (we went twice). Getting downtown was straightforward, about 20 minutes by car, though you'll want to spend a ton of time at the property. One minor point of confusion - the gate; the key fob you get when you check in is what you need to open and close the gate, not the keypad by the front door (we figured it out with some help from the host, who was very responsive to our emails). Overall - amazing place.

Great place, all the little details in place, a little distant from town

Overall, the property was great. Very clean, well maintained, check in and out was easy and everything you need was in place. Little details matter and the property is well equipped and of a high standard. Negative is that is a far way out of the main part of Cairns.
