The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. "My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. The owners were so friendly and responded as soon as I needed anything. The view was absolutely stunning. It was a cozy room with everything we needed for a great price. Such a great place to get away from the stresses of the normal routine and just relax. We will definitely be coming back!"

"The property was excellent, location was easy to access with a short boat ride. Tent was large enough for all four of us adults. Cooking and cleaning supplies were available and worked great. "The Woodside Suite was clean and had almost everything we needed. (No spatula)The fan/light in the bedroom still doesn't work, but there was a lamp and a fan in the closet to use. "Property is in a great location. The deck overlooking the lake was my favorite spot for watching the sunrise, doing some star gazing and enjoying the beautiful view. The fishing was fantastic. "We loved the privacy on the deck and the location was great. We were only a short, couple of minutes, drive away from the boat landing. We had a dog and a 3 year old along with 6 adults. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, including some games. "Need some repairs and improvements: Outside: the deck has boards raised above the deck more than a quarter inch. Weeds growing through the steps and others should be trimmed out. some black mold on the deck chairs. Inside was very nice, but faucet in the kitchen need repair- hard to shut off completely. The stairway to basement had no railing which surprised us. Its a good comfortable property, but could an excellent property. We did enjoy it! Thank you"

"We spent a long weekend in the Whitepine room at the lodge and loved it! The view was incredible. The beach and the water are just about unmatched by any other lake I’ve been to. The water activities available were great for the kids. The family running the place is adorable and work super hard. One note would be that the restaurant is not open. We would definitely return!"

"First time renting a VRBO, and it was exceptional! Lisa and Phil were great hosts. The property itself was very well maintained and boasted so many extras.
