The resort was excellent and our stay was very enjoyable. However because of the size of the resort, getting around was a challenge for me because I have a back injury. It would have been helpful to have access to a golf cart or a motorized wheelchair to get around.

Sandals food and service was worth staying. We have stayed at different resorts and nothing compares to Sandals food. I would stay at a Sandals resort again.

Beautiful location on the beach. Lits of fun using kayak abd sail biat etc. Good entertainment but riom for improvement fir a five star property. Overall very good.

Great beach good resort. The staff not so good. Very moody people . In every place we went especially the front desk we feelt like they dont want us there. I dont understand if you dont like to work in hospitality than dont work. I thought Sandals supposed to be a great place for vacation but the truth im very disappointed.

First day the room was not cleaned or change towels. Service in the beach was very good and the bar as well. Front desk was not friendly or meet our needs. Our flight was at 5 and the check out at 11 no late check out whatsoever. They say you have to go to the Mediterranean side to change and come back again to the Caribbean side for the car. We had to walk all round with suitcases. But overall was ok.

Pros/Cons (a real review):
Pros: - beautiful beach with amazing shells and sea glass - free scuba diving for certified divers (it was awesome!) all gear is included, too, besides a wetsuit - amazing food at all locations (so many options) - free shuttle to and from the airport - use of Departure Lounge (showers/hair dryers/soap/towels/etc. all provided here if you have a late flight- it was absolutely amazing, so we were able to enjoy our day and get cleaned up before leaving) - grounds/landscaping was beautiful - room was very spacious and comfortable (the double vanity was amazing) - included watersports were so fun (we took out the Hobie quite a few times) - Adults-only - Top-shelf liquor - Lots of different pools with fun activities in the main pool all day - nightly entertainment - not crowded at all, which was amazing - friendly workers - Samson and Delilah (their resident parrots were adorable in the main lobby) Cons: - Food service to your room ended too early at 10:00 (we wish it went until midnight) - Room keys weren't wristbands like a lot of other resorts we've stayed at. We prefer not carrying the key around with us. Wristbands make it easier. Tips: - We liked staying at the Mediterranean side better. It's of course a personal preference, but it was right at the main pool. - Order a Hummingbird and Cool Runnings Our trip was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend going to Sandals Antigua. It is totally worth the money!!

The Macaws at the check in area needs a bigger aviary as it’s to small for two large Macaws. They are also not fed timely and water is not changed or topped up! When events are being held in that area, the Macaws should be moved to another location, the loud entertainment would have the birds stressed.

I liked everything about the property. I do think the breakfast places should be open at 7am. (early risers) I was all so thinking about maybe a miniature golf on your property. My suggestion- I would like more of a dancing place with mix music for older couples and younger couples. I think you should put in fans at some of the eating places, it was very hot couldn't enjoy the food as much.

Sandals resort was just fine, the reason I gave it an overall rating of only 2 stars is for my Expedia experience…our room reservations were wrong, we were two couples traveling together and our rooms were supposed to be side by side in one of the little cottages but when we arrived our room was in one of the cottages and our companion’s room was in whole different building/location. Needless to say we were not happy about this and although the Sandal’s team were not responsible since we booked through Expedia they did make it right and upgraded us to be next to our friends free of additional cost. Sandals stepped up when Expedia failed. Will definitely book through a hotel’s website directly rather than Expedia from now on!

This Sandals resort has certainly seen better days. We stayed on the Mediterranean side on the 3rd floor. The room was adequate. The air conditioner leaked, the refrigerator was noisy, there was mold visible in the shower, broken ornate piece missing from the mirror. What we really liked was the included shuttle service and amenities. We sailed and snorkled which was great to not have to pay additional fees to enjoy these experiences.

This resort was so beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a getaway. I had such an amazing time and everyone was so nice and accommodating. The room service was fast and the dining options were wonderful. The food was delicious including the buffet. I definitely will be returning!

Towels smell damp and moldy making your skin smell the same. Not completely all inclusive, if you’re not in a certain area you don’t receive all privileges, like for example room service, we called room service and they said that our building belonged to the tier that does not receive room service

Staff is great, resort is dated and could use some renovation. Room didn’t have a alarm clock/ radio or TV guide. My only major complaint is expedia has room service list as limited. I assumed this is limited hours or menu, it’s limited rooms.

The decor needs a revamp upon a closer look. The staff was excellent. The candlelight beach dinner was very romantic if you can stand the sand flies. But wirh that being said we would definitely visit another Sandals resort in the future.
