En general todo estuvo dentro de lo esperado. La limpieza y artículos de la habitación eran buenos. Sin embargo el aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente desde el primer día. Y a pesar de que fue reportado no lo pudieron solucionar de tal manera que algunas noches no fueron del todo cómodas.

Buen hotel con algún pero
Sitio muy cuidado, con todo lo necesario en la habitación... Al hacer la reserva en hoteles.com yo leí desayuno continental, pero eso no significa que esté incluido en el precio (yo pensaba que si). Entonces al ser sin desayuno, no me pareció tan bien de precio, por lo caro que resulta desayunar en Roma. Eso si, al lado del hotel hay una tienda que tiene bollería muy buena a 0,70€ (la misma que nos costaba 1,80 € en una cafetería). La ubicación es fabulosa, hicimos todo andando, y ver el coliseo dos veces mínimo al día es una pasada... Además de términi se llega en 10 min andando. Sólo tiene dos aspectos negativos el hotel: la recepción sólo esta abierta hasta las 17:00, por lo que si tu avión llega más tarde tienes que llamar y esperar en la calle a que venga a abrirte (tardó unos 25 min, que no es mucho, pero es incómodo estar en la calle con las maletas). Si la habitación da a la calle del portal, es muy ruidosa por la noche: Hay unos contenedores de basura justo debajo y se oye mucho ruido sobre las 2:00 am que lo recoge el camión. Yo me tuve que poner tapones.

Loved the location. It was close enough to walk to the Colosseum, Roman Villa and Vittorio Emmanuel monument. There was a metro station 5 minutes walk away and some decent restaurants and bars, of varying prices, nearby. There were problems though and I think these should be addressed. Firstly, when I look for a place to stay, I always check the check-in times and the check-in times for this property were described as 1 pm to 9 pm. We were travelling from Florence so 1 pm worked perfectly with our 1230 arrival time into the terminal. I booked the room 4 days before arriving and my Expedia page updated to show a confirmed booking from 1pm. I didn’t receive anything from the property asking me to confirm my time of arrival. On the day, we arrived just after 2pm in blistering heat but nobody answered. It was some time before we heard from them and by then we’d checked into another hotel for the night as we needed to leave our bags and get out, not waste the afternoon. I don’t know why they couldn’t send a message via Expedia asking for our arrival time! We arranged to access our room the following morning and that went well but there was a terrible smell in the apartment. We thought it was from the large bins outside so closed the window and went out for the day but on returning we realised it was from our bathroom. It was bearable with the bathroom door shut but I left a message for Michelle to let her know and hopefully it’ll be resolved for further guests.

This moment is difficult for everybody in all of the world, and I'm sorry but we are not always in the hotel, so when you make a reservation is absolutly necessary to give the time arrival, otheriwse is the risk to not find somebody... I don't know for wich reason we can't contact the customer, so the customer must have care to inform the hotel for the time arrival... Anyway, thanks to staying with us. Regards

This property is an excellent choice. 2 minutes walk from the Coloseum and 15 min to the Trevi Fountain. Brilliant location, bars, restaurants, "Valantino" out the from door turn left 6 doors down in my opion one of the best restaurants in town. Loccando colosseo- Staff are lovely ""Michelle" and the sevice is excellent.

Did not like that one of the owners came Thru and opened the doors of the rooms we were all staying in. He walked in on my niece and her daughter without knocking first. She heard him enter every room. Not acceptable! Glass in bathroom had toothpaste and scum in the bottom. We were told it was not for drinking just for putting our tooth brush in. It still should be clean. The safe popped open... came home from a long day of touring... it was open. Credit card missing since then. May or may have gone missing from the safe..: not sure. Just odd. Friendly check on. Helpful with airport transportation. Great location and wonderful place to eat across the street.

I can't beleve that you layer for credit card, is incredible, maybe the pickpockets outside in the street... NEVER NEVER somebody tell something like this...all the rooms has the seif and everybody put their things in the seif with YOUR COD NUMBER.. why you didn't tell us when you was in the hotel ?

Because I sent an e-mail before I checo-in, the check-in counter staff's were there. So I could check-in here earlier than noticed check-in time. And the room condition was clean and the location was perfect to go famous place or to eat something. Staffs are nice and kind. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The property was very aesthetically pleasing. The website did not mention that there would be no staff there after 1:30 PM. We had to contact someone and wait for them to meet us. You cannot wait for staff to arrive inside the building. You have to wait on the street. We had two rooms. One was fine. The other had air-conditioning that would only run for 15 minutes at a time and then shut off. There was no staff there in the evenings to deal with the problem. In addition, Expedia said on the website but this was a bed-and-breakfast. No breakfast was available and no food or drinks were available for purchase. The one saving grace was that the young lady who came in the morning to clean the rooms was very pleasant and bilingual.

Hello Rob, Very nice from you, befor your arrival we send many, many email to ask the time arrival, explain that we have not reception 24 hour, is not GRAND HOTEL, you doesn't care and never answer to our email... This is NOT Bed and Breakfast and wright very clear in all the portals, NO BREAKFAST, NO MEAL INCLUDED in the price, so NO BREAKFAST IS AVAILABLE.. The Air Conditioning works very well, when we entrance in your rooms to clean , WAS FROZEN not Fridge, I mentione this.. So I'm so sorry that you wasn't satisfait. Have a good day

Internet not working
The place is at a great location and clean. However I was there for work and I needed internet so I expected it would work as advertised. But it didn't. Sometimes it was very slow, and sometimes (often) it was not working at all!!! We are in 2019 and we still do not have working internet?!?!? I asked to fix it, of course they blamed somebody else (the provider). But in the end it was not working. It happened for several days, especially during evening hours so it wasn't a single episode. Despite that the big room was very comfortable and clean, with very cool design. The room was advertised "with city" view but there was a pile of trash outside the only windows facing an internal court. AC was great though.

The main reason we chose this place was the close proximity to all the major tourist attractions in Rome. The Colosseum is literally 5 minutes away and also easily accessible through the metro. We reached Rome in the morning around 10:00 AM, and they offered to keep the bags though our check-in was at 3:00 PM. The entrance to the place is somewhat hidden (or different from what I am used to as a hotel entrance). The hotel is on the second floor inside another building, and you need to buzz-in and get the main door open. One thing to keep in mind is that this place has limited check-in and check-out times. So you need to contact them before arriving to make sure you are checking-in during the working hours.

Hôtel idéalement situé à 2 pas du Colisée. Chambre grande mais insonorisation très mauvaise. Beaucoup de bruit dans la rue la nuit, avec les bennes de dépôt de verre très utilisés, probablement à la fermeture des bars.

Hello we don't know hwo are you, if you don't wright your name is not good.. If is noisy, remember that you are in the center of Rome, with restaurant, shopping street, supermarket, bars open till 2-3 o'clock in the night, but the hotel has very strong insonorizet windows. I'm sorry we are not situated in the middle of the forest. Regards Michelle

Gentile ANONIMO, Innanzitutto, vorremmo sapere chi è Lei e che cosa non andava bene in struttura, visto il suo "pessimo", sempre se è vero che ha alloggiato alla Locanda Colosseo... Esistono delle prenotazioni tramite Expedia, che gli ospiti non sono mai arrivati in struttura, con la possibilità di fare dei commenti NON VERITIERI. This hotel is in the perfect location! 5 minutes walk to the Metro and 5 minutes walk to the Colosseum. Great restaurants nearby also. The staff was friendly and check in was quick and easy. There is not someone at the desk 24 hours and some times not even during the day. They do have a cell phone number you can call if you need something. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was small and with 4 people and luggage in the room it was tight. The bathroom was clean and typical European style (small shower, toilet, bidet, and sink) The lift was helpful in getting our luggage up to the 2nd floor where the hotel is located.

Great central location, staff was friendly and helpful when they were there. It was nice to not have someone breathing down your throat during your stay but If something came up, they weren’t on-site. Rooms were a bit noisy because you could hear everyone’s every move but again, great location and close to most tourist attractions.

Formidable
Très bien placé, nous étions 2 adultes et 2 ados dans une chambre côté boulevard pour 4 nuits. A deux pas du Colisée et 10 minutes des bus, n'hésitez pas à réserver les yeux fermés. Accueil formidable... lorsque nous reviendrons sur Rome ce sera assurément dans cet endroit.
