This place was no frills when built. It’s really tired now. My room was just bizarre. Strange noise all night from a heater. Couple or mismatches chairs and pillows that are not only old but cheap. Needs an injection of improvements. On a positive note - super convenient access to the mountain.

Booked standard room on Expedia. Hotel was empty. The room was likely the lowest level in the hotel. Front desk staff worked hard to express their rude local distain for an out of town skier guest. It merits mention that there is a $56 resort fee, which is high by most hotel standards. The absence of any amenities reveals the true rationale behind the fee. I suppose when all you have to offer is location without a smile, the “why” is never important.

Hot water lacking in bathroom sink. Asked for a blender, which has been provided to me at other properties with similar amenities, but none available. Room cleaning cursory. No standing shower stall.

My husband and I enjoyed our ski trip to Palisades. Our room was amazing... super convenient to the slopes. Really not a bad location in the resort - all very walkable to the ski lifts. Loved it!

Room was located in one of the best locations in the resort. The staff at the front desk during the time of check-in were fantastic and accommodating.

V Poor Value
location..location..low rent...very out of date and extremely over priced. Paid over $850 pn plus a resort (?) fee for a very underwhelming room with few onsite facilities. Hot tub area wasn't appealing and water wasn't hot. I get that we were paying for location and so we didn't have to fight to park in the mornings. We are used to staying at Heavenly in Marriott which is WAY better value IMO. TV in the bedroom was Michael Scott size which did provide a laugh. We had no kettle or even a pot to boil water...it was my wife's b'day and she was horrified when I told her the cost. stayed at Plumpjack about a year ago and that was a better stay. How did they ever host an Olympics in this resort :)

Convenient location in the village. Fully stocked kitchens. Price is high but you’re paying for the convenience. Jacuzzis lukewarm - we notified the hotel but they explained they have a new system and don’t have control locally… they have to fix this!

My children 10 years old and my 14 year old where at the hot tub around 8 pm and a some adults where questioning them suspecting my kids sneaked into the property, they asked questions like their room number and what their parents name where, they even asked my kids if they “belong here in this resort” which I found rude and a bit prejudiced, my kids are brown. Im generally not a confrontational person my kids felt a uncomfortable so now they’re both refusing to leave the room

great stay!
staying on-prem is so easy! loved walking access to everything. Nice to have the car parked in the garage the entire trip. the spa was so nice too.

Unfortunate
A light fixture in the original room exploded and lit on fire, there is no extinguisher in the rooms, only down the hallways. Took maintenance a solid 5 minutes to get to the room even though I called and said there was an active flame (albeit not a large one, but a flame). They were able to book us into another room but with limited help as their system was down and unable to create new keys right away. no refund/discount offered, no free parking offered, nothing.

The guys at the reception had no clue about anything. Upon asking anything his response was ‘I don’t know’ and asked his colleague if she knew. We had 3 room reservations and requested if the rooms can be close on same floor or have an apartment with 3 bedrooms and response was they have 3 separate reservations and cannot do anything. For 3 rooms, I had to pay 6 times at check in (2 times per room to cover the Resort Fee and Incidental Fees) - such a waste. And finally after requesting a crib in a room at the time of reservation, I asked which room has the crib - the same standard response ‘I don't know’. Finally, the double bed in the room was dirty with nuts and food items spread on the sheets.

Property is beautiful and room was great but there was construction in the area that we were not aware of which ruined the relaxing part of our stay. No one wants to sit out on a balcony to watch the mountains and then only hear giant trucks moving around. Also grinding machines were so loud! It def ruined that part of our stay. We traveled first week of Oct 2023.

Great views and location - very spacious room! Weather was perfect so we enjoyed coffee outside our balcony every morning. Front desk help is only in the main building and we didn’t see any staff in our building. Starbucks in our building so that was another plus
