Simplemente espectacular .
El Ocean Z es un lugar excepcional . Si realmente se pretende descansar en Aruba, este es el lugar. Eva, Andreina y Estephanie además del resto del personal, hacen que tu estadía sea una experiencia sinpar. Es el mejor hotel boutique de la isla. Describir al Ocean Z en una frase: es como estar en casa!

It was away from the downtown area which was what my husband and I was looking for. The rooms are beautiful and modern. The owner Eva along with the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was amazing. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. My next trip to Aruba we will definitely stay at Ocean Z

From our beautiful ocean view room that has our own mini jacuzzi pool, and the beautiful sight of the sun setting every night; To beautiful and welcoming workers and staff of Ocean Z who both served us during our stay at the hotel and while dining at their restaurant, we had an incredible time and we’d highly recommend this place especially if you want to be away from the crowd. Special shoutout to Vivi and Isabella for being so wonderful and kind. You girls made our trip more memorable. God bless you!!

Restful, relaxing trip to Aruba
The service here is absolutely exceptional. Each person at Ocean Z knew our names, were eager and happy to help with anything at all. The food was excellent, the pool was really nice, and location is superb, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, nature-first experience. We has a delicious fresh breakfast each morning, walked to the beach, snorkeled with fish and sea turtles (!!) and came back to relax in the pool, have a glass of wine on our balcony, etc. The only reasons we didn't give this 5 stars is because our room (the mini master suite) was much smaller than anticipated, and unfortunately there was a sewage smell/situation which was unpleasant for a full 24 hours of our time here. Other than that, the owners, mgmt, folks in service, etc. were phenomenal!

Thank you so much for staying with us and for your review.Unfortunatly that week Aruba was a complete disater weather wize of hig tides hit the front and it hit excatly the days you were there .What i have wished for is all the times we asked how was everything you both seemed so happy and not once metioned me this, we would have INMIDIATLY have changed you to the back rooms that it did not hit this oder at times .i really apollogize fot this, and just so you know we have guest in the same room and nothing of tis is happenig soooooo sorry .hope to see you again , hugs Eva

I booked OceanZ for a surprise 25th wedding anniversary for my wife and I. This was both of our first time in Aruba. I looked at several hotels online, but I had specific requirements that I wanted from this trip, and the traditional hotel, didn't really appeal to me figuring it would be just another flavor of the same thing (i.e most chain hotels), in a different country. I discovered OceanZ in my search and obviously the reviews played a big part in my selection. But the pictures showed atheistics that I felt my wife and I would enjoy, also the proximity to the ocean. There are different room types to choose from. There was only one Ocean view room available for the 8 days I wanted it, but it had a nice balcony so we could watch the sunsets (which were amazing btw). The room was cozy, super clean, bed very comfortable and well maintained. Fresh beach towels each day; and the salt water pool and patio area was awesome. We would swim before breakfast, and usually in the evening! The included breakfast was excellent, made fresh, the Egg's Oz was my particular favorite! The hotel is located in the quieter north west side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the Hotel Area. I'd recommend renting a small rental car and zipping around the island. If your considering this hotel, then you must already know the kind of experience your looking for, so do it!

This business (boutique hotel, high end restaurant and a fashion boutique) is a hidden gem in the Carribean. My daughter and I had an amazing 12 day stay in the bigger pool suite (room 10) in July. Amazing experience enhanced by professionalism, very wam hospitality and kindness. Comfortable, clean and chic hotel room. Stunning guest pool downstairs and a romantic smaller private pool accessed from the pool suite upstairs. The staff provided exceptional service with grace and a smile. Owner Eva is a visionary with an immense talent, immecable taste in fashion and decor and deep knowledge of how to run a high end boutique hotel business and restaurant. Special thanks to GM Leonicita. She is very professional, engaging, kind, smiley and attentive. No request was too big or too small. I loved our conversations over breakfast each morning. A lifetime of memories was created. Many thanks to everyone at Ocean Z! Everyone made us feel welcome - like we were at home - and the food and cocktails/drinks at the restaurant were absolutely amazing! We will be back!

My wife and I just stayed at the ocean z hotel in Aruba. We were in suite 11 with an amazing view of the ocean. This hotel is beautiful. Very clean, quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. But if you want to go there it's only a 5 min drive up the road. The beach is a 3 min drive or 10 min walk. What sets this place apart by far is the staff. The staff is awesome. So attentive and friendly. Especially Maria. She took care of whatever we needed at any time. They had breakfast for us every morning and having dinner in their restaurant at night was a great experience. The only negative I can say is that the jets in our private pool were broke and could not be fixed until our last day. Small price to pay for how amazing everything was. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again. We loved it.

Well I was under the impression based on all of the travel apps that there was one room left. Well this was not the case. I was the only one in the hotel. The entire hotel was vacant. It is not walkable to any convenience stores or shopping. The beaches there are full of coral reef and rocks. It is across the street from the beach. The breakfast was perfect. If you choose dinner at their restaurant you can expect to pay some awfully high prices compared to the rest of the island. I asked Leoncita if there were any places to shop and she mentioned to me that I shouldn't be shopping on my vacation. Regardless she sent me to a rundown area in the city which made me uncomfortable once I left my car and walked to the shopping areas. I had to find out on my own that there was a hotel zone which was 5 minute drive from where the hotel was. It was very active and full of tourists and action. And this is the type of vacation that I wanted. So I decided to leave the hotel and transferred to the Hyatt Regency. I was not given any refund but I did not expect it. I was so unhappy there because I was all by myself that I actually paid for another hotel in an area where there were people and assortments of restaurants and food and shopping etc. I cannot complain about the hotel it was a very beautiful hotel and a wonderful staff. It would be a very romantic hotel for couples. I blame myself for going to a boutique hotel. It just wasn't for me. I still enjoyed my stay while I was there.

thank you for your review, we have rooms that are only one of a kind, maybe that is what the confusion was .we are 3 minutes by car of all the high rise hotels and we supply trasportation to the beaches near us one of the best 10 in the world.you will never cross with others since evryone goes out and styays till the evening maybe that day you checked in was many check out or some coming in in later days.this is only a great place to be SOLO if you need to get away from all, buy yes i agree beter with a friend or wife or better half.thank you again for your review

Dear Mr. Robert,Thank you so much for taking your personal time to write us this review.Indeed we are a 12 Room Boutique Hotel and during this low season our occupancy was low. We only have 2 Rooms for each category and and for that reason in the category you chose Junior King Suite there was only 1 Room left.On our website and all other sites we do inform that we are across the street from the beach at the best snorkeling spot on the island and that we provide transportation to and from the Arashi Beach and we provide all our Guests with folding beach chairs, ice coolers with ice and snorkeling masks. We also mention that we are 5 minutes away from the high rise hotels by car. You mentioned that you wanted to shop cloths, you did not mention souveniers and I send you Downtown where we have all the shopping stores in Aruba and this area is by the cruiseships which is not a run down place and its very safe in that area. The Ocean Z Boutique Hotel indeed is not for everyone and we always recommend to study in more details the location, the type of Hotel before making a final destination of where you want to stay. As soon as a Guest makes a reservation with us, I send them an email where they have a chance to ask any information or if they have any requests prior to arrival. We are all about a more upscale, personal and relaxing vacation away from all the crowd. The Ocean Z Restaurant is also a small upscale Restaurant with amazing food, entertainment and reviews and most of the best Restaurants in Aruba have the same price.I am so happy you still enjoyed your stay and understand that it was just not what you were looking for. So first I’d like to apologize for this late review as upon returning from my vacation I was extremely busy. I knew I was eventually gonna get to it. I would like to begin by sayin thank you to Leoncia who made this a dream vacation from the moment we got there. It was our 30th anniversary and she made sure it was memorable. Her service and attention to detail made this by far our best trip and experience ever. From the preparation and decoration of our room to the delicious meals in the dining area, it was all amazing. Leo cita serviced us personally during breakfast, and even that was impressive. A week for us did not seem like enough time as we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. It honestly felt like we were part of the family. I would like to express my gratitude to the owners Eva and Zulay whom I must say weee super attentive and personable. Eva also made it clear that if I needed anything, that I could even knock on her door with any questions or concerns. I would also like to recognize the staff on premises they made our stay so comforting. Thank you to Odra, Michael, and Ediney. This is a place that I am looking forward to returning to!

We travel alot and stay in very nice resorts but decided to try something different this time. Ocean Z really spoiles us and has changed our prospective on accommodations whwn traveling. Our stay was so personalized and special and with only 13 rooms, very private. It was like am oasis from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom shower is outdoors and adds such a romantic vibe and great for pics. The staff is amazing and truly provide hospitality that spoils you rotten. Leoncita and Maria were the absolute best!!!!! They truly worked together to make sure we had reservations, excursions, taxis, and a table set every morning for breakfast. We got a chance to met the owner Eva so that was exciting and her son. Im not sure if he was working or there to relax with his family but he helped several times and was SUPER nice! If you are looking for a personal experience, Ocean Z is the place. It's in a great location, the restaurant hands down was the best food we had the whole week. Seasoned to perfection! Thus hotel is truly one of a kind.

Let me start by sharing a little anecdote. Every morning at breakfast, the guests at Ocean Z chatted among each other sharing stories and experiences of their time in Aruba. Inevitably a topic of leaving would come up and the upcoming Covid Test - arranged by Ocean Z (Leoncita - you are the best!), would come up. I've have never seen so many folks wishing for a POSITIVE result - to be "forced" to stay another week! It is not just the Island - it is how Ocean Z makes one's idea of relaxing yet picturesque vacation come to reality and form lasting memories. We came to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary and every moment of our stay - including a special dinner and romantic live music, made this trip a true celebration we hoped for. Thank you! P.S. I read all the reviews and everything is true down to each meticulous detail. This is the best private hotel you will find in Aruba.

Em primeiro lugar um agradecimento especial para a proprietária Eva, para a Alexandra e todo o staff do hotel. Tivemos um atendimento maravilhoso! O hotel é uma ótima alternativa para as grandes redes hoteleiras de Aruba. É moderno, decorado com elegância, silencioso (não é um hotel para crianças) e com poucos quartos. Exclusivo portanto. Estacionamento, wifi e cafe da manhã não são cobrados a parte. O restaurante do hotel é ótimo. Cardápio delicioso. É um dos restaurantes com melhor classificação em Aruba. Não é um hotel de beira de praia. Portanto é necessário alugar um carro ou usar taxi para os descolamentos. Nos forneceram cooler com gelo, lanches e cadeiras para levarmos à praia, fundamentais nesses dias de dólar alto. Enfim, foi uma estadia excelente. Recomendo muito o Ocean Z!

I had booked a stay at an Airbnb. There was a serious issue that resulted in me jumping online and booking OceanZ with a check in 30 minutes post booking. Cannot tell you how amazing it felt to walk into the front lobby and to be greeted with a glass of champagne, and then to be ushered to our lovely room, and to have such an amazing stay. Truly saved the trip. The only recommendation I would make it to add some options such as morning meditation at the pool, chair massage etc... Overall outstanding service and experience. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for 7 nights in October 2021 and had an absolutely amazing time!! Perfect location, incredible staff and the best food on the island. The food here is the absolute BEST in Aruba. You will not find a better place to eat, I promise you that. We went to Zeerover's, Flying Fishbone & Atardi's, which are all very good and highly recommended but nothing came close to the food at Ocean Z. The hotel is perfectly located across the street from the water and a 1 minute drive from Arashi Beach. It's 2-3 minute drive from the big Casinos (if that's your thing) Highly recommend renting a car for your stay as taxi's can get expensive and the hotel is a short drive to everything you'll likely want to do. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, incredible views of the sunset and beach and the pool gives you somewhere to relax before heading out for the day. We want to thank Eva, Andreina, Alexandra, Jose, Raphael, Diana and everyone else at the Ocean Z for making our first trip to Aruba unforgettable!! We can't wait to come back and look forward to seeing everyone next year!! Matt & Jane

I loved that they prepared cooler and offer chairs and towels and beach bag. They made great recommendations and made reservations for us. The food in the hotel and their restaurant is a five star restaurant. Excellent. The staff and owner are attentive and not over barring. They went out of the way to make my wife 40.2 birthday celebration amazing and special. The infinity semi-private room was wow. The sunset is right there every night. Wow...Ocean Z is amazing! We've stayed at the Ritz Carlton and Marriott style properties but enjoy the intimate places and we found one in Ocean Z. Thirteen rooms with 3 ocean front suites and a private infinity pool enjoyed by two of those rooms. Imagine a personalized breakfast, a day of exploring and returning to your oceanfront room and private pool before cleaning up for a dinner of amazing food and personalized service. I liked being away from the downtown area which was a quick car, taxi, or bus away. Lovely comfortable stylish rooms with great toiletries. An intimate 5 star restaurant on the premises. Amazing for a special occasion. Superb customer services thanks to Andreina, Eva and Jose! Nearby Arashi Beach was heaven. Many thanks for a wonderful introduction to the Island.

Boutique hotel with only 13 room, but very intimate. Off the beaten path, but not a long taxi ride to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. Very friendly staff - extremely attentive throughout out entire visit.
