We explored Bologna, Modena, and Parma, along with local parmigiano, and balsamico “factories” (actually very small), stay here! Tiziano was very helpful and his boxer Beatrice is very friendly. "We've very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place, grand view, the terrace is a perfect spot to relax und enjoy a book, a coffee or an evening meal (Jon is an excellent cook!). Kitchen well equipped, the house has all amenities for a perfect stay. Wonderful hosts, very friendly and considerate, they know the area very well and offered us lots of valued tips for off the beaten track places to visit. We dearly miss our conversations!"

"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."
