El servicio del personal muy eficiente y amables en si el hotel está bien y le hubiera dado 5 estrellas , pero la primera noche en nuestra habitación empezó a salir agua por todo el techo al grado de inundarse! Al principio pensé que era la regadera por el ruido , pero empezamos a ver como salía de todos lados ! Y eso paso a las 3:30 de la madrugada, hablé a recepción y no me ofrecieron cambiarme de cuarto , yo tuve que pedirlo y tuve que ir por las llaves cuando me dijeron que me las enviarían. Una pésima noche! Tuvimos que comprar un par de zapatos porque totalmente se nos mojaron los que llevábamos. Y a todo esto nunca recibí una disculpa de ninguno de los encargados.

The only dislike is the shuttle service can only stay within 2 miles...rediculous since the cruise port is 7 miles away.

I loved the concept of the Mayan hotel. I loved the art work they had in the main lobby. Loved the wood Aztec calendar in the lobby. The thing is the Aztecs were different than the Mayans so that calendar doesn’t go with the “Mayan” theme. Overall the hotel is an old hotel and not worth the price. The room decore was old and felt musky. Seems like they just put some random wallpaper that went with the Mayan them and some old furniture and called it done. All the fixture in the bathroom were already rusting from bad ventilation, the furniture wasn’t dusted and it seemed that the room was never vacuumed. All the dirt was just swept to one corner of the room which was kind of gross. The only convenient about it is that it is close to the port so if you’re going on a cruise it will be easy to get to. I would say this hotel is not worth the stay or what you are paying to stay here. There’s a double tree a min away. May be a better stay.

35 USD per night just to park your car in their open air lot. Room was advertised as beach view but is actually marina view (there’s no real beach here). Other than that, the pool was nice.

We arrived at 10:30am and we were able to check in with no issue. They also can hold your baggage until checkin. They also have complimentary shuttle to the cruise port.
