"We had a very nice stay and the owners were very kind. The place was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the laundry machine not working but the owners came out and replaced it with a new one immediately so we could enjoy the rest of our stay. The bonus game room was a hit for the whole family and we all had a great time overall. Definitely recommend!"

"Pat's home is beautiful, with every amenity imaginable. We particularly enjoyed the comfy and ample seating, the fireplaces, and the back porch. The heat lamps were a special surprise and we made use of them during our frigid time of year visit. The house is quite a trek from the landmarks you would plan to visit in the winter, just give yourself ample time to get anywhere that is scheduled (like Mammoth Cave tours and the like). "We had a guys weekend away that included grilling out, playing games, and hanging out. There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. "Our family had a very nice 3 night stay. The weather cooperated as much as we needed, and the large covered deck helped out when the weather couldn't contain itself. Mammoth Caves are a very short drive, and the drive to Bolling Green (for the Corvette Museum) was beautiful. The owners of the property could have been more helpful, and responsive. "This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay."

"Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place."
