"We thoroughly enjoyed our extended family vacation at the land yacht! We had a larger group and found that we had plenty of space. The pool was a big hit with the kids and the solarium was a favourite spot for drinking morning coffees. The space was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We found sea glass on the beaches and there is convenient access to the trail system across the road. Can't wait to come back!"

"So restful and an astoundingly gorgeous location. Couldn't be happier with the stay, the house, the area, and Phil gave such good advice! We had a glitch with the stove (our problem, not the stove) and he popped over to straighten us out in a flash. Finding the place in the dark was a bit of a challenge; if you have cell coverage, it should be fine. Otherwise, it is wise to examine a map very carefully before you set off (in the dark)."

"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. "It was quite pleasant. The accommodation was as stated, clean, spacious, modern, and close to where we wanted to be: central. There was a lot of stair climbing involved, which was fine for us but maybe not all older people. The bed was unusual but comfortable; the shower was quite spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. In general, it was very acceptable."
