I had a very comfortable stay at this inn, which was small, cozy, and comforting. The staff, particularly Matthias (spelling?) were very approachable and friendly. He listened to me babble nonsense after our two hour drive there from El Chalten by answering all my questions/demands in English, informed us that he was putting finishing touches on our room before we officially settled in (this was critical based on previous reviews), and prepared the free coffee/tea in the lobby for guests; he had a great attitude even after I spilled some on the tablerunner. Mariano, the GM, who we did not meet until breakfast the next day, unfortunately, which was excellent as other reviews say, will greet you if you arrive in the morning. We met another couple during our stay in the common area, who we dined with, which added to the intimacy of the place.
The Argentinian hospitality at this inn will make you feel welcome to Patagonia whether it’s your first or last night there, and encourage you to leave your heart in this surreal place at the end of the world!
