Hola Carlos,Cómo le va! Gracias por sus comentarios!Lamento que saber de qué se sintieran “Obligados” a dejar el alojamiento a las 10 am. Lo entendí diferente siendo que desde el momento de reservar recibieron la información y hasta zolicitaron tasa por servicio de late check out (que no estuvieron dispuestos a afrontar)Me queda aclarar que optaron por la tasa más económica (y de descuento) y que esta tarifa no les incluye los principales servicios de valor agregado a una estadía de experiencia memomrable, como desayuno, traslados y experiencias guiadas. Contaron con todo nuestro asesoramiento y acompañamiento pero decidieron. Mabeharse autononamebte… lamento esta sedición de su parte y espero poder acompañarlos de mejor manera en el futuroEstamos atentos a cualquier inquietudAbrazo!Mariano

Céntrico y aceptable
Buena ubicación, instalaciones nuevas y limpias, aunque las habitaciones un poco pequeñas, lo necesario para descansar y realizar los recorridos. Precio versus calidad y cantidad, decepcionante. El hotel ofrece un desayuno que costaba 25 dólares por día, y q se ofertaba como atención personalizada, por lo q debías indicar la hora exacta en la q lo tomarías. Solo tenían huevos, pocos panes y bebidas restringidas a café, té y un yogurt (algo de espera porque solo una persona atendía). Se pueden encontrar opciones más económicas para comer en los alrededores. Mismo caso con el traslado desde/hacia el aeropuerto (5 veces más caro al contratarlo en el hotel)

I hope we could are you back here in order to know about that!Breakfast please is bussy every day… and we have a very Good feedback from guest regarding that.The same cost you’d choisen to be descounted on your booked desl “without breakfast included” is the amount we request to be cober in case you pretend it on place… I remember you had said you would not prefer rakfast included, but them, early in the morning you were pretending same coffee and same drinks and oerjaps a YOGOURT… from the table … and pretending to pay only for that… geting upset when i ofered to you to take what ever you wont… and noticien you that we only provide “breakfast” in stead of that… e en you had been filmed preparing sándwiches to go… in stead of request our lunch boxes… Just to clarify… in the morning we provide breakfast only… a beautufuul and nutrishuble one… to be token in place… and charge for that only… you are free on take it or not… as well of our lunch boxes…but as noticed in advance, don’t expect things or deals we disn’t offer to you to be confirmed without agree me t please. MadreTierra is like a big house, . We have a big hert, we take care of you as our family… would try to undeestand, learning/teaching… always!Thanks for camming!!!Cheers,

Excelente!
Ha sido inmejorable: es un pequeño hotelito pero tanto Natasha como Mariano son excelentes anfitriones. También las otras chicas que allí trabajan. El desayuno es excelente, con fruta recien cortada y huevos hechos al momento. Además nos pusimos en manos de Mariano para las excursiones al tener solo 4 días y no podíamos haber hecho nada mejor. Excelente!

We had a lovely stay at MadreTierra - from our initiial welcome (including a refeshing glass of freshly squeezed juice) to the comfy room and delicious breakfast everything was great. Staff were also very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. Would highly reccommend!

I travel quite a bit but was impressed with the staff. I especially want to thank Daniel who helped me with a late checkin. Never have I had such care taken of me by a staff member. He was marvelous.

Boa localização a 3 quadras da rua principal. Atendimento excelente, gentileza dos funcionarios. Cafe da manhã é cobrado a parte e é muito bom O quarto era espaçoso, cama confortável e roupa de cama e banho muito boas, porém o quarto não dispunha de frigobar e nem televisão, o que estranhamos. O banheiro é amplo, tem banheira de hidromassagem mas tem um vazamento e o banheiro fica bem molhado na hora do banho , independentemente de usarmos a banheira ou o chuveiro. O cofre do quarto não possui instruções e como resultado acabamos fechando nossos pertences e não conseguimos mais abrir. Fomos socorridos pelos funcionarios, mas não utilizamos mais o cofre.

Very charming boutique hotel a short walk from the Main Street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and every day was many fresh fruits, made to order eggs and meat and a delicious variety of fresh pastries. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to my next visit! Thanks to everyone!

This simple property is exactly like in the pictures. Cute, somewhat quirky, and convenient to the Main Street of El Calafate with shopping and eating within a couple of blocks. The gentleman at the front desk was particularly helpful, the woman less so. Both were friendly though.

Great place but very small rooms
MadreTierra is a very nice small boutique hotel, located conveniently close to many restaurants and stores in the centro (downtown) of El Calafate. We had an issue at checkin because we booked rooms that can each accommodate two adults and one child (as we had done at all other hotels for our trip, with absolutely no issues) but it turns out that only kids up to 2 years old are allowed to share a room with their parents. Our kids were old enough to sleep in a separate room and, thankfully, the hotel had one extra room available for the first night of our stay, but then we had to figure out how to split our family group between MadreTierra and a different hotel. This situation made things a little uncomfortable, so I would only recommend this place for couples (who don’t mind a very small room), not for families with kids. Other than the small size of the room, this is a very nice place. The staff and manager are very attentive and friendly, and the overall experience is very pleasant thanks to them!

A Little Gem
Such a little gem of a property in El Calafate with welcoming hosts. Location was perfect and right off the main street of Avenida Del Libertador. The hotel has a family feeling to it and the breakfast in the mornings was great. If it's an option, I suggest paying the extra money for it. I will definitely be visiting this property again. Thank You!

Pack lunch trop cher ( qu’un restau…), ne renseigne pas où se garer et du coup voiture accidentée, se paye en dollards et taux change prohibitif si pesos, on avait demandé chambre à l’étage pour 2eme visite mais non, très gentils mais le reste déçus.

We loved our stay at Madre Tierra! Mariano, the owner is a hands on owner! Not only will he and his staff ensure you feel right at home and safe, he is also super knowledgeable about Calafate, and offers services to take you trekking, to the glaciers and many more adventures! Make sure to ask to reach out ahead of your stay to ask about these guided adventures. The hotel itself is also amazing! Very clean, spacious and the rooms are very comfortable. Make sure to book your stay with breakfast included, you won’t regret it! When we go back to Calafate we will make sure to stay at Madre Tierra.

Friendly front staff. Must either pay in cash or pre-purchase through Expedia or alternative website. Shower vacillated from extremely hot to extremely cold. Did not have hot coffee available at 7 am as we were leaving for our excursion. Pillows were so hard that I used my camping pillow instead of theirs.

I had a very comfortable stay at this inn, which was small, cozy, and comforting. The staff, particularly Matthias (spelling?) were very approachable and friendly. He listened to me babble nonsense after our two hour drive there from El Chalten by answering all my questions/demands in English, informed us that he was putting finishing touches on our room before we officially settled in (this was critical based on previous reviews), and prepared the free coffee/tea in the lobby for guests; he had a great attitude even after I spilled some on the tablerunner. Mariano, the GM, who we did not meet until breakfast the next day, unfortunately, which was excellent as other reviews say, will greet you if you arrive in the morning. We met another couple during our stay in the common area, who we dined with, which added to the intimacy of the place. The Argentinian hospitality at this inn will make you feel welcome to Patagonia whether it’s your first or last night there, and encourage you to leave your heart in this surreal place at the end of the world!

Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly staff that provided a good breakfast and is within easy walking of downtown. My only complaint is minor: no way to refuse my room being entered, which was done more than once per day - my things were moved and my reusable water bottles thrown out. Need to add a sign to hand on the door to indicate not to disturb or clean. Otherwise, very sweet with nice touches. Busses had easy access to pick me up. There is an excellent cafeteria right across the street that also has sandwiches perfect for all day excursions.
