"The hotel appearance is consistent with the rest of the city. Wick is a bit dirty and industrial. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and food at the hotel was very good. We traveled to Wick for the coastline long hikes and that did not disappoint. The hikes were amazing and worth the effort to travel this far north."

"This is one of the few places to stay in the ferry port of Stromness, Mainland Orkney. The staff (and pretty much everyone on the island) are extremely friendly and helpful. "Really easy check in. Stunning clean room and excellent value for money. The off-street parking is right beside the property and easy to find. The kitchen area with air fryer and microwave was really useful too. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if I’m ever in Wick again. Our room was also so quiet we couldn’t hear any traffic noise.
