"My husband and I stayed last year and when we returned this year with family to watch our oldest graduate the stay was no different. The house is clean, well stocked of things you need, and it feels like home. We gathered in the kitchen to cook meals and dining area to eat and hang out. Our oldest is moving on to another state to further their education so there isn’t a need to return but if there were I would come stay again."

"We were in the QC to meet many friends for a COL. We had not seen some for years. We went toe Farmers Market across the street found some friends there as well. Walked to a little tavern Mac’s Tap we used to go to and that was great. Good food & atmosphere."

"We have stayed in this home many times before and always had such a great time but it has always been in the winter. We stayed here again in June and the house was more beautiful with all the flowers bloomed. They even did some renovations to the inside that made it even more elegant. We really recommend this house for the beautiful views and the comfort of the inside of the home. The host is always there to make sure your stay is a very pleasant one."

"We had an excellent Thanksgiving stay in this quaint home right on the Mississippi river. The location couldn't have been better for us. The number of bedrooms, supplies in the kitchen, and activities for the kids inside the house were wonderful. Highly recommend this for any short or long journey to Iowa for a family or couples."

"This place is a cute studio apartment located right downtown, along the river. It’s right across the street from the Freight House which offers the awesome indoor farmers market on weekends. There is a nice walking path along the river. There’s the awesome baseball stadium across the street with minor league games and is home to St Ambrose baseball. "We were in town for our daughter’s pinning ceremony at St Ambrose so we weren’t at the rental much. It worked good for our family. Maybe I misssed it in the description, but the house sets up on a hill and there are some slopes going to the property and the stairs are a little steep. My mother usually doesn’t do steep things well since her knee replacement but she still did okay. He was great to work with and was very accommodating with anything we neeeded!!!"

"Very nice, recently renovated home located on a scenic lot adjacent to the Mississippi River. Proprietors were very welcoming and all the amenities were as advertised. My wife and I both worked remotely while visiting and wi fi was great. We walked the neighborhood multiple times and felt very safe."
