"Pictures online undersell this little cottage. The layout is family friendly and also completely suitable for a couple or even individual stay. The owner was very responsive and the property showed pride in ownership. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. "Very disappointed. Should have been told there was no waterfall due to drought. It was not private and secluded as there were people camping on property and using the outdoor shower, we didn’t not expect to share. The sewer situation in the camper was so smelly it was gagging. Vent in bathroom and on air conditioner, filthy. I have pictures of all the discrepancies. In all felt like a bait and switch. Have never had an issue with any other VRBO property we have stayed at."

"David's place exceeded my expectations! Very smart design and layout. Quality craftmanship and attention to detail. Super clean. I wish my daughter and i could have stayed longer! Close enough to Middlebury College for this to be a great option for 2 people. David was very nice to stop by to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. We didn't see him again, but knew he was only a phone call away. Perfect."

"The house and location were perfect for 5 retired guys fishing on beautiful Schroon lake. It was easy to rent a pontoon boat at the marina and the house was very comfotable and well equipped . The kitchen was fairly new and the bedrooms were large with 3 of them having there own bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms upstairs shared a bathroom. I would recommend this property for friends or a family . The fishing was also pretty good and there is a nice beach for swimming . Brian C"

"Cabin was clean and cozy and in a quiet location. Make sure you build the fire as far back in the fireplace as possible or you will be smoked out.The kitchen needs a frying pan or two. Overall we were very comfortable."

"Our group stayed here while on a ski trip to Gore Mountain. The home was very nice and our host was responsive and timely. We enjoyed this home as it felt cozy and suited all our needs. "We can not say enough wonderful things about our stay. Brian was there to meet us and do a walk though of the property and even helped us out with local places to go. He is a gem! Although it rained it was absolutely perfect. The yard gave our pups a place to run free but there was also cute areas to walk them all around the area. The views of the water are incredible. Just sad it was too cold to jump in... maybe next time. October was the perfect time to see all the leaves changing and breathe...
