The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. I was a bit nervous of the dogs but they were completely contained away from us and were no trouble at all. We cooked several times, and dined out several time. L'Abbazia restaurant was a wonderful dining experience. (Loc. "Ilva’s home was fabulous. The views were amazing. Ilva was an absolute delight and we constantly cursed our lack of Italian as we would have been able to communicate so much better. Ilva was a fabulous hostess and checked in to make sure we were okay. The house was charming and lovingly decorated. On leaving we had issues with car, Ilva drove into Sarnano to meet us and called a mechanic. Truth be known we were sorry to leave."
