Great Apartment and Location
Stayed in Francesco’s apartment for three nights and we loved the experience. Francesco met us on the street, walked us to the apartment, gave us a complete tour and introduction and then walked us to a restaurant nearby so we could grab a bite to eat. The apartment is updated and well appointed and located in an area with coffee shops and some restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Capaci train station. We loved sitting on the rooftop terrace and sharing coffee in the morning and drinks at night! We were always able to find street parking nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant apartment and hosts
Accommodation: the apartment was immaculately clean. Great to have the sun terrace, pretty amazing views. Lovely welcome gifts from the host including some essentials in the fridge! Location is great, even with a 5 year old we could walk to the beach within 15/20 mins. Local shops, cafes, restaurants are a stone's throw away with more restaurants by the beach (highly recommend Cocorita for amazing seafood). Less than 10 minutes walk to the train station. Getting in and out of Palermo is super easy. Capaci: I won't lie, it's a strange place. Let me explain, it's not what I would call a tourist area which we really liked. It's very local, everyone seems to know each other so it can feel a bit intimidating but everyone was friendly. You can be relaxing on the beach one minute then walking through a busy school run the next. We went in October so out of season but blessed with the weather so spent a lot of time on the beach. The sea is really calm, clear and shallow so great for families. Beautiful views, unfortunately the actual beach was a bit dirty, lots of litter. Not much English is spoken (not that we expect that) but we got by with Google Translate! We found the locals friendly, especially the family who own the Minimarket shop just down from the apartment. Hosts: literally couldn't have been better! Great communication, had a slight issue with a light which was sorted really quickly and discreetly. They also arranged for us to get a lift back to the airport which was significantly cheaper than a taxi! Thank you for everything. Overall: we loved it!! Felt so at home in the apartment. Loved how close we were to everything. Definitely hop on the train to Palermo, and maybe stop at Sferracavallo which is really pretty and does excellent seafood!!

Excellent sejour en famille Août 2023
Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine en Août à 4 adultes. Très bonne communication avec le propriétaire. Il a tout fait avec sa collaboratrice pour que notre séjour se passe bien. Excellente situation, avec tous les commerces de proximité à pied. Palerme à 15 minutes en voiture. Capaci animé mais pas bruyante. A recommander sans hésitation. Point à améliorer, un peu plus de vaisselle pour les gens qui aiment cuisiner.

Sizilianische Gastfreundschaft
Als Erstes ist der überaus gastfreundliche Vermieter Francesco zu erwähnen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, erhielten eine Erstausstattung an Lebensmittel und. Getränken und fühlten uns sofort Willkommen. Die Familie führt auch ein Badehaus am 1,3 km entfernten Strand von Capaci. Wir wurden dort eingeladen, einen Sonnenschirm und zwei Liegen kostenlos zu nützen. Die Wohnung ist mit modernen Ikeamöbeln ausgerüstet, die Betten waren sehr bequem und in den Schlafräumen befinden sich Klimageräte (hatten eine extreme Hitzewoche erwischt mit 36/37 Grad im Schatten). Die Hitze verhinderte leider einen längeren Aufenthalt auf der tollen Dachterrasse (aber dafür kann Francesco nichts). Super ist die Eisenbahnverbindung nach Palermo. Gerade mal 10 Min. zu Fuß entfernt befindet sich der Bahnhof und man kann für unter 10 Euro zu Zweit eine Hin-und Rückfahrt im klimatisierten Zug direkt in die Stadt genießen (Fahrzeit 35 Min.). Verbindung halbstündlich. Auf jeden Fall dem Auto vorziehen! Die Bahnhöfe sind modern und sicher. Als weitere Ausflüge empfehlen wir „San Vito lo Capo“ (Traumhafte Badebucht), Erice, Castellammare del Golfo und die antiken Stätten von Segesto. Danke an Francesco und auch seinem Vater für Ihre Gastfreundschaft, die viel herzlicher war als in manchen norditalienischen Städten. Andreas.

Very satisfied repeat visitors!
Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect: excellent service from accommodating hosts in an ideal location. Having already gone into a lot of detail in an earlier review (April 17-May 3, 2022), we now reiterate that this two-bedroom apartment is one of the best appointed places that we have stayed in. Family members who visited us for one week during our lengthy stay were equally impressed with this particular rental. For five weeks, this was our very comfortable home! Thanks for everything, Francesco and Romina!

A True Home Away From Home!
Francesco’s house was a delight for us! As long-time VRBO users booking lengthy stays, we know what we need to live comfortably. The apartment is spotless, well-maintained, and well-appointed. Since we cook most of our own meals, the full kitchen contains practically everything one could want and more. You will not be disappointed in the stocked kitchen with combined living space, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the roof terrace. It is very large, and we never got tired of the mountain and sea views - it’s quite magical in the evening watching the sunset! The location of Francesco’s place is centrally located, particularly important because we did not rent a car. We have traveled much of Sicily, and have chosen Capaci to be our home while here on the island for 2-3 months, twice a year. We love the community, the people, the beach, and frequent many of the local businesses. Acknowledging our intent to temporarily live in Capaci, a car is not necessary - we simply walk everywhere! Taking the train to Palermo is a treat too! While the apartment is very nice for short visits, it is extremely well-suited for longer stays. From our first correspondence with Romina to meeting Francesco, the service we have received is the best that we have experienced anywhere. They are both very friendly, accommodating, and personable; for every question or request we had, we received a timely response. Any issues that arose were dealt with efficiently and professionally. Francesco strives to - and greatly succeeds - to help guests feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much for everything, Francesco!

Eine Woche Capaci
Schöne Wohnung und total netter Vermieter. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und tolle Ausflüge nach Palermo gemacht. Auch ganz einfach mit dem Zug. Süßes kleines Städtchen mit nur netten Menschen. Kann es nur empfehlen. Auch mit Kleinkind gut machbar. Das Treppenhaus ist nur etwas eng um Gepäck und Kind nach oben zu bringen
