"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

"We stayed at 3 properties on this trip and this is the only one I don’t think I could recommend since I didn’t really feel welcomed, condo was missing things it should have had based on the listing, poor maintenance, and water issues. AC was completely turned off and it is a second story condo so the indoor temp when we got there was in the mid-90s and took 24 hours to cool down. When you know someone is coming turn on the AC. "The house was huge and the property was right on the beach! Mauricio was very helpful for anything we needed. There was also dogs and a cat on the property (outside) which we loved too. The property was well secured and the house also has an alarm system but didn’t have to worry about it at all. Overall was an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!"

Cons: The host responded to emails quickly, but the management company that oversaw the home weren't great.
