"Seven of us stayed in the house for a week after Christmas. The house is clean and very spacious, so there was lots of room for all of us. We made good use of the pool table, foosball table, indoor/outdoor fire places and the outdoor mini-football field. Walter and Priscilla were responsive and helpful hosts. Terceira is a great island, and everything is in easy driving distance. We enjoyed the location of the house, but it is a long walk, about an hour and partly through a more industrial area,...

"Sehr gepflegtes Haus mit großzügigem Außenbereich samt Sommerküche. Der Vermieter ist sichtlich bemüht, die Dinge auf Stand zu halten, alles in ordentlichem Zustand. Das Haus liegt relativ einsam, ist aber durch neue gute Straßen gut angebunden (Horta bzw. Caldeira halbe Stunde, Capelinhos Katzensprung). Pizzeria in Gehweite, Einkaufsmöglichkeit besser mit Auto (5 Min). Übernahme und Abreise freundlich und problemlos."

"We have stayed in many rental properties around the world, and I've never written a poor review until now. But I just can't recommend this house. It is -- as it appears -- an architecturally interesting house, in a terrific location, with a delightful setting offering green views and outdoor space to enjoy (particularly handy with a 9 year-old boy in tow). "To sum it up: perfect stay. Our house was clean, comfy and the pool a delight. Our host took very good care on us and the first breakfast was included rounding up our vacation. There was some confusing on our behalf, since Expedia noted to get a mail prior to our arrival for access - then we learned that our host is on site already."
