What you can expect

Start with the pick up at your hotel in Cusco or in the Sacred Valley, board the bus that will take you to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes.

Continue a journey of 1 hour and 45 minutes, enjoy the panoramic views of the Andes and the lush jungle through the train window.

Upon arrival your guide will be waiting for you at the train station exit. Board the bus for 30 minutes with your guide to the entrance of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

Enjoy a self-paced tour of the historic citadel (depending on the type of circuit), connect with the energy and take pictures to remember.

Begin the descent to the town of Aguas Calientes, enjoy lunch (not included) before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo where your driver will be waiting to bring you back to the city of Cusco.
