Our stay was generally good. The location was convenient for our needs, and we found the apartment to be clean upon arrival. The amenities provided were as described in the listing. Overall, it was a comfortable and functional place to stay for our trip to Walport.

I have never had a stay with so many extras. The owners were great and included so many thoughtful extras. It was cold during our stay but the kids were still able to enjoy the kayaks and all the beautiful scenery. We had a large group which was perfect all being able to stay at the same location but still have our own space. I would highly recommend this property. Having the kitchen was great for a group so we didn't have to eat out at every meal.

This place is the coziest place we've ever stayed! It had everything anyone could ever need to have a pleasant stay. The kitchen was extremely well equipped....there were plenty of bath towels and bedding....it was nice and warm with lots of natural light through the windows. It was also absolutely spotless! After we left, we wished we had booked our stay to be longer. That can be remedied, though....we'll just book another stay! You will love this place!!! We HIGHLY recommend a stay here!

This is a perfect spot for a coastal retreat. The room was clean and comfortable. They truly have considered everything for their guests convenience. Including chocolates on the pillows. I would recommend it to anyone coming to the central coast looking for a relaxing getaway. The hosts Kelly and Ellie were delightful as well. 5 stars!

This was one of our favorite places to stay! The property was wonderful and the room, itself was comfortable, clean and beautiful. There were so many offerings included, like breakfast food items, games/books, kayaks available for taking out on the inlet etc. The hosts were phenomenal, incredibly kind and hospitable. We loved staying here so much that we want to make coming back a yearly tradition. I can’t say enough good about our experience here—it was amazing!

Kelly and Ellie are so welcoming and thought of all the nice little touches to make us feel comfortable and right at home. Bathrobes, warm cookies on arrival, use of the laundry and 'mud' towels, everything you'd ever want when at the coast! The room and kitchen area was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the space was well lit with windows all around, and there was plenty of entertainment. Loved the kayaks! Kelly and Ellie are super friendly, and you can tell that they love hosting guests.

This place looked fantastic from all the photographs and it did NOT disappoint! We had hoped to find a place where we could walk out on the sand, but all the extra touches and location just blocks from Waldport made it irresistible. The host thought of literally everything. When we walked in the door, they had fashioned a happy birthday sign for me that made me smile every time we saw it. They also wrote a welcome message in the sequined couch pillows, fashioned towels into two swans that formed a heart shape at the foot of the “cloud bed.” The cloud decor you see over the bed in pictures is as awesome as it looks. Our only regret is that our activities didn’t lineup with the tides in a way that would’ve allowed us to use the kayaks and paddle boat. We brought all this fishing gear and thought we’d be spending our time on or beside the water. In the end, we found plenty of wonderful things to do, and we never even unpacked that stuff. We will definitely reach out to these owners again for our next trip to the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!

Kelly and Ellie are the kindest most gracious hosts you could wish for. They have literally thought of everything you might need for a relaxing stay. The place is spotless and quiet. We love visiting Oregon and have stayed in many places but we have never felt so cared for. It really is a little bit of heaven. The Good Lord willing we will be back!

My Sister and I showed up and had a big welcoming from Ellie and Kelly!! They had our place all ready and clean and fully stocked with anything we might need while we were there. Kelly and Ellie are the loveliest couple that were there for us any time we needed them but also gave us complete privacy. Kelly met us down by the dock to help us put some kayaks in the water for a stroll in the water at high tide. The bed was so comfortable. We commented to each other that we want to bring our husbands here to stay with us next time.

Our hosts were very nice and helpful. We received detailed arrival instructions as well as info about the area. The unit was clean and in a quiet area. The hosts provided unexpected goodies. We didn’t use many of the amenities, though there were lots provided! We did use the washer/dryer, which was a major reason for me to rent this unit, having traveled for a full week prior to our stay here and had another week to go. The bed was a bit too soft for our preference, but we enjoyed the real soft and thick bath towels. I would stay here again.

Kelly and Ellie call this suite "A little bit of heaven" and they're not kidding! It's like a honeymoon suite and children's dream suite all in one. I was drawn originally to the description and photos, which were spot-on. The place is super-clean, extremely comfy and over-the-top cool. From the fresh-baked cookies on check-in to the plush towels and robes, access to laundry, and more kitchen appliances than I have at home, it's hard to beat. And then there's the beautiful river/coastal inlet outside the window, the kayaks and paddle boats and easy access to Oregon Coast. Stay there. You won't be disappointed.

The owners of this property were amazing. Such nice people, with very good instructions to see and do everything in the area. Kayaks and paddle boats to explore the Alsea Bay right by the property. Crab traps, chairs, coolers, bbq and fire pit available to use. It was absolutely perfect for our trip with our grandson.

Quiet, clean, has every appliance you could need for cooking. They definitely earned their 5 🌟 rating. They have the "Holy Bible" of things to do waiting for you when you get there. Would definitely stay here again, am actually thinking about coming back sooner than later. You will not be disappointed

We loved the place! It was open and airy, the perfect size for me and my 2 college age children. Kelly and Ellie are great hosts, and thought of everything you might possibly need. Before we went, they provided info on things to do, restaurants, attractions. The property has a fully equipped kitchen and bath, including bath products. Plus items for the beach - a beach bag and towels, portable grill, chairs. AND kayaks for paddling in the inlet. The location is central, tons to do within an hour north or south. We went sandboarding, visited Lighthouses, hiked at Cape Perpetua. We explored tidepools, saw seals at Yaquina Head, Sea Lions in Newport, whales at Depoe Bay. The Oregon Coast is breathtaking. And finished the day with local beverages, like Marionberry Cider. Highly recommend!

We stayed with Kelly and Ellie in their perfect little Bit of Heaven while we stayed and strayed out of Waldport for a wedding. It had been almost 30 years since my last Oregon visit and I was so very happy to be returning with my wife and 10 year old son. They may need to create a new rating system because, honestly, 5 stars is not enough. The kindness they showed us was worth the visit alone, but their vast wealth of knowledge of the local and surrounding areas was equally welcome and simply priceless. When we arrived they both gave us a tour, which included a personalized message on giant homemade sequined pillows welcoming each of us by name. They provided robes in our sizes, any and all toiletries you could think of, snacks and sweets and even gave access to laundry with all detergents and softners provided, scent and dye free nonetheless. I felt more cozy and comfortable than I do in my own home and that is saying something. We hope to return and return soon. When we do, I cannot wait to be back in Heaven, even if only to say hello to Kelly and Ellie. Thank you both so much for making our magical trip feel that much more special.

The hosts thought of everything travelers could need or want during a trip. They prepared a binder of all of the things to do and see in the area, which was especially helpful when deciding on a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was clean and well stocked. The property was quiet and beautiful with lots of flowers. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location.
