Our condo was beautifully decorated, comfortable, felt very much like a home, and was a dozen feet or so away from the shoreline. The area that the condo is in is quiet compared to other parts of Maui. A short distance away there is a 6 mile long beach to walk to enjoy and to swim. The condo is also close to a small harbor from which you can catch a variety of tours. There is also a shopping area, restaurants, and an aquarium. The condo is also centrally located and can be the access point for many of the things to see and do in Maui. We will be coming back again. My only critique would be that some of the description of the condo says it has a sunset view, however, I think that depends on the time of the year. For us the sunset was out of sight.

Our 4th visit to Maui, and first time staying at Maalaea Bay area. We loved it. Very convenient to everything. If you want to go to Haleakala, Hana, Lava fields, snorkeling, Mamas fish house, this is convenient to these as well as the airport! Unit had everything we needed. Just no extra seasonings, condiments or cooking spray.so take your old bay and garlic if you go fishing, Had a couple issues (minor) and Caldwell Banker responded quickly. So if i had to point out a negative the only thing I'd say is the Cable tv was goofy (we had some stormy rain days-and our team was in NFL playoffs otherwise we wouldnt have even turned on) and theres no instructions for tv or cable or channel listing and it took us a while to figure out how to put on network tv. Unit supplied with salt,pepper, coffee filters. a couple K cups (drip and kuerig pots). enough TP and paper towels and handsoap for our 11 night stay. Pool is ok. nothing fancy. Saw whales breaching or waving EVERY day. turtles in water near property -just no beach for them to climb up on. Quiet area. you don't hear traffic. its a dead end. and an easy Walk to Ocean center or excursions. Went to Seascapes per owners recommendation-Great early dinner /late lunch and reasonable for a gourmet meal with a bay view! Sunrise on the lanai with your coffee! no sunsets from here, but Haleakala was great for that and in only 1 hour you can be above the clouds. Thank you for sharing your Maui home with us!!!

We had a fantastic stay in Maui thanks to this relaxing and peaceful condo. The condo appeared identical to the listing's photos. We appreciated the snorkels, coolers, and beach gear, as well as the books provided for some beachside reading. The lanai was beautiful and we loved spending time there in the morning eating breakfast. The grounds are very nicely kept and the pool is large, clean, and enjoyable. There are also dozens of sea turtles each afternoon that hang out in the shallow water in front of the property which is an added bonus!

Condo was very nice and clean. Building very well maintained. Location is handy to a variety of options to do. Had a small plumbing issue first day, but easily resolved. View from condo was spectacular! On path of planes coming in, however did not bother us at all. Would definately rent again.

This property was absolutely amazing! The view is amazing! The rental sits directly on the water, which after exploring the island a bit, seems to be rare. Most others we saw have a road or public walkway between them and the water. The grounds were well kept which added to the view. Enjoyed sitting in the lawn and watching the sun go down. The unit was well stocked with kitchen stuff, games, snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc. For a week stay, we ran out of bathroom stock (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner) so we had to go out and buy more which isn’t cheap on the island. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this place to everyone! The location is central on the island which allowed us to explore every corner!

Check in process was very streamlined and property management was very responsive to my inquiries. The unit was well stocked and even had snorkeling equipment, games etc which was much appreciated. Given that we came in Winter the weather was perfect and not to hot but if the visit was in summer the unit could get a bit hot since there is not AC inside unit. It is well advertised as such but just to be mindful if your kids can't tolerate the heat of summer to consider. We had a fabulous time. Thank you for the memories.

The property looks as advertised. Overall, we were happy. Check-in was not smooth. I did not receive the welcome email that was supposed to have been sent several days prior to the day of check-in. Guests will want to note the email was supposed to come from @escapia.com. Check-in information was not available through VRBO. The second thing to note is check in is at 4 pm, and the property management ends office hours at 5 pm. They are not on site. I started contacting the company prior to 5 pm and had to dig to find the contact number. It took over 2 hours before we could access the unit, and we were in the process of finding alternative accommodations for our stay before someone finally returned the call. When the property management followed up the next day during their office hours, the only thing they had to say was they sent the email. I have checked all folders (including Spam and Trash), and I do not have any email from the company to assist with check-in. The final thing that was a concern was the floor of the unit. It was so dirty we all wore socks to keep the dirt from staining our feet. This may occur due to the need to have the windows open for air flow in the unit and the strong trade winds during our stay. We swept and mopped the floor a few times during our stay and didn't see much improvement. It's an easy fix if you don't mind socks, but house shoes would be a better thing to pack. The unit wasn't the main issue--it was the management and check-in process. The lanai was a great windbreak and very enjoyable.

The ocean view and the location are great. However we didn’t receive the check in information with door code until the day before arrival and we needs to reach out the property management multiple time by phone and emails to follow up. It is stressful when you are in vacation.

This property was absolutely perfect. We would definitely return without hesitation. Upon our arrival the condo was certainly cleaned with care and very welcoming. Not only would we return to this property, but we will also be on the lookout for other properties managed by CB Island Vacations when we plan future trips. We had an awesome vacation....

We loved our stay. The unit was exactly what we needed and so close to the Marina where we did a snorkeling and whale watching trip. The views were amazing, every day we saw whales from the private lanai (it was peak whale season when we stayed). Highly recommend!!
