Amazing Property

This property is so perfect in the summertime. We checked in for the 4th of July weekend, and everything was so clean. The house was well stocked with quality products. The property manager was super responsive!!

A perfect family getaway!

The Timber Wolf cabin was perfectly located in Tahoma to access everything our family wanted to experience- beaches, hiking, kayaking, and swimming. The house was well equipped with all the extras to make our stay feel like we had all the comforts of home. My kids even had an exciting bear encounter on a run one morning. We made beautiful family memories and would love to visit again in the future! Thanks for the great stay!

Wonderful Tahoe Getaway

Very nice property! Perfect for our family of 4. Cozy but I wouldn’t say it was small. The hot tub was a real hit. Place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Host was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. 5 stars.

Great place

Great house!! Kitchen was well stocked and it has great appliances. Nest heater and fireplace make it easy to heat. No bbq was a bummer but we made due. No garage use as stated but it would be nice to have with heavy snowfalls. Great location!

Perfect for families with kids

We had a great time in Tahoma, the cabin was the perfect set up for my family with 3 young kids, having a yard was awesome to be able to let them run around, play soccer, dig in the dirt. They loved the movie room downstairs! The neighborhood felt safe and was great to ride bikes around. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We love the market down the road for last minute groceries and delicious gelato. We will definitely be back!

Great location for exploring North Tahoe

The house was described very well. Spacious for four adults and has all the amenities you need for a getaway. Easy check in and good communication from the host. As other reviewers mentioned, the house is a bit dated/worn. Bathrooms weren't overly clean which was a bummer. Having to check out by 10 am wasn't great. Seems like that's the earliest I've ever had to check out in a rental home, especially considering the host asks that you do laundry, dishes, trash, etc. when you leave. Good for the price and exploring the area.

Family base camp

We have returned to this property annually for a few years. We really like the layout and the well stocked kitchen. We continue to visit as our family grows and we always fit! We explore locally each time and have gotten comfortable on the West Shore. The owner, Joanne, is fantastic.

Comfortable stay

This is our 2nd time stay and still enjoyed it. The furniture is a bit old but it feels home. Essentials are all available. The only drawback is garage is not available and we need to park outside in the snow, extra work to clean. Power went out one night but the generator immediately kicked in and we got some power back. Quite and nice neighborhood. The kids had a lot of fun in the snow in the backyard. Will definitely come back next time!

February Ski Trip

Stayed here for four days for a winter ski trip. House was clean and exactly as photographed. All amenities worked well. Our party consisted of five adults, two couples and one single person, and we were very comfortable. Was usually about 30min to Palisades in clear conditions. Just a mile away from a small grocery store. If you're coming with young kids the Homewood ski resort is right up the road.

Pretty much ideal

I spent three days here at the end of summer. The place was clean and well-organized. Everything was clearly labeled. I had a little confusion communicating with the property manager but was able to clear it up right away. All in all, a very nice place.

Home away from home!

It's rare that a place exceeds expectations, but this was one! The house is very well appointed and decorated, and the location is ideal to explore West lake Tahoe. We will come back for sure! The only slight negative is the cleaning cost which is high for shorter stays. This + VRBO fees end up increasing the price quite significantly.

Great cabin, lovely time

We had an amazing time! Plenty of room, the kids loved the downstairs (movie theater) room. Hot tub was a great plus. House was clean with all the amenities. Great restaurants and coffee/gelato shop within walking distance. The lake is close by. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to run around while we enjoyed the outdoor patio. Had an issue with the Keurig and owner replace it quickly. Overall great time and would recommend

Tahoe Get Away

We stayed here in June. The property was beautiful, the inside of the home was more than i expected. Beautiful and comfy, with a homey feel.We took our granddaughters with us and each girl had a lovely room. The master bedroom was spacious and comfy. I loved the French doors leading to the backyard and hot tub, which was perfect after a long day. The downstairs was the girls favorite place at night, they watched movies and played cards. The living room was nice and cozy with the fireplace. Plenty of room for the family to stretch out. The kitchen was great. Plenty of room for the family to cook together and not be on top of each other. Great family bonding time. The backyard has a bbq and table and chairs. Our 15 year old loved checking out the moss and trees as we sat outside for dinner. The front porch is a great spot to sit and read. The property Manager was very kind and helpful when i had questions and answered when i called which is very important. This home is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood just blocks to the beach. Definitely will be staying here again. Great home for making memories and reconnecting.
