This was a dream property. It was utterly delightful. So well maintained and with everything you might need. The information files were fantastic. Just be aware the drive is very steep. We loved every minute here and we had planned to stay here longer.

Looking for a Christmas getaway where the only jingle you’ll hear is kangaroos hopping around? This place delivered! It was so peaceful you could hear the festive cheer of silence. The house was spotlessly prepared, like Santa’s elves had swung by before us. The best part? When our water decided to take a holiday too, the owners swooped in like Christmas superheroes and fixed it on Christmas Day! Talk about dedication—Santa could learn a thing or two from them. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a mix of serenity, wildlife, and a landlord more reliable than Rudolph’s GPS!

Lovely quiet little place. Driveway bit scary first time haha had everything you needed for a home away from home. Close enough to everything you need beach shopping food etc.

The main bed was unusable and in urgent need of a new mattress, we slept on the couch. Good location and surrounded by bush with kangaroos and birds. House was clean and well setup.

Little Mountain Retreat was a very relaxing and homely place to stay at. We had everything we needed in the house, and it was very beautifully presented. We loved the feeling of being amongst the trees and seeing the kangaroos and birds, while also being so close to shops and restaurants, the beach, and the hinterland. Rachel was so lovely to communicate with and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone travelling to the Sunshine Coast, and would definitely come back!

Well presented little house with everything you may need. Very steep driveway which was overgrown. Don't recommend arriving after dark. Still a good drive away from the beach (10-15 mins). Not as comfortable as we had hoped as far the bed and sheets went. A neighbour's barking dog and traffic noises meant it wasn't as quiet as we had hoped. Everything was in good working order.

Had a lovely family weekend staycation of 5A+1C in this lil retreat tucked away in peaceful green surroundings! Waking up to breakfast at the deck was special! Full amenities provided, complete just as one were to be at home! Couldn't have asked for more!

We all really enjoyed our extra long weekend at Little Mountain Retreat.The property was amazing we loved all the comfortable finishing touches which made our stay so much enjoyable. Beautiful views highly recommend, the place catered to all our needs. Our host was helpful and received great communication, nothing was a problem.

Could not fault our stay in this house,Perfect location, from the verandah to the kitchen,which had everthing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and exceptional,and Rachel our host was very accomodating. If we didnt have tours organised,could have quite easily stayed at home and watched the view, Would definitely stay here again. Ian and Leah

The house was so lovely and had everything we needed plus some little extra's we were not expecting but truly appreciated. not having to pack towels and linen was an added bonus. The view from every window is truly spectacular and relaxing. Trees and sky was our view for two days and I felt totally refreshed after spending the weekend at Little Mountain. Thank you to the owners for hosting our thoroughly enjoyable weekend. We will be back very soon.

Amazing property to stay at! Loved the timber doors and deck. Bbq-ed and dined outside, was perfect. Very tidy property and nice and private...just right for us. Kitchen has quality cookware (Scanpan) and the pantry essentials was a welcome surprise (foil, cooking paper, sauces, oils, rice, pasta). Aptly sized fridge freezer for a homestay. The only disappointments were the bath (let down on size) and the showers (had low pressure). Loved the room sprays and showering sets in the bathrooms though so have ordered some for our home! A great place to stay, a credit to you Rachael. Thank you for your hospitality.

This place is very well equipped even for a young family. Had board games and Netflix provided so lots of entertainment if needed. There's even roo food! Yes, we saw kangaroos everyday. The property was clean and the high quality fittings and appliances was actually surprising. The slight negative for us was the main bedroom bed was touch soft, but can't fault as this is a personal preference. The bed was not sagging. As for the location, it wasn't far from the main hub of Caloundra, we actually prefer to not be right in the centre. There is slight road noise during the day, but it wasn't an issue at night and didn't disturb our sleep. Very happy with our stay and would stay again in the future.
