Great Condo for big family

We had a great time. Place was clean and comfortable for a group of 8. The view from balcony was amazing. We saw dolphins playing in the water every day. Its a short walk to the beach and the onsite water park was perfect for kids.

Accuracy

While the condo itself was very nice and well kept, the accuracy in the description of how many "tickets" were available to visit "Splash Harbor" was very vague. There were up to 10 staying in the condo, but only 4 tickets were given. Raise the rent and include everyone! The elevators up and down were hot. We were not the only ones that thought this was unacceptable. Electricity is there, why not at least have a fan to pull air. The door to the condo didn't open on first try, EVER. It seemed to need to rest for it to decide. NEVER opened prior to three tries. When you have a 3 bedroom condo, you will have luggage. There was no easy access to pull up and unload your belongings to go upstairs. Unlike some guesses, there was no indication from the owner that you could maybe borrow a cart from the office across the street. While the condo was nice there definitely needs to be better descriptions and information in the advertising on the VRBO listing!

Wonderful location

This rental was exceptionally clean.. check in was easy. Location is perfect… Can walk to restaurants, nightlife, and beach. Grocery store minutes away.

Great place for families

This was our second year staying at Harbourside with our children and grandchildren. It is a PERFECT location for families with young children. They love the waterpark right downstairs and the beach is only a 3 block walk. The unit had a high chair which was a happy surprise and came in handy for our 2 year old grandson. There is an external closet with sand toys and beach chairs. The only recommendation for improvement would be to have a collapsible wagon included in the closet to help transport things to and from the beach. I would definitely recommend!

New Year's Eve

Everything was as described. The location is really great and very walkable to so many things! We drove and visited many area locations during our stay and we all said we were glad to be staying in a more calm, laid back beach town, with plenty of walkable restaurants, bars, parks and of course the beach.

Kitchen needs updated plates, cups, pans. Water park needs two lines one for Splash Harbour & one for the Holiday Inn we had to wait in line behind everyone that was paying to get into the resort while we already had passes, overall wasn’t a bad stay just bad location not much to do.

A fun place to take children and grandchildren

This water park has a lazy river which was perfect for the grandparents and a couple of water slides which our grandchildren liked. It was crowded on the weekends, but during the week it was not busy at all. There are lots of things to do in the area! The owner was very responsive when we called about a couple of things which was greatly appreciated.

Spring break fun

This was our second time at the property (different unit previously) and had a great vacation. Great communication from owner. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and local shops. Perfect spot for morning coffee on the patio looking out at the waterway below and gulf to the west. The pool allows guests outside of the condos and can get very busy. Good for families as our kids (9,7,4) enjoyed the water park/area. Recommend “turtle park” just across the bridge for a nature center experience.

Spring Break getaway

This condo was the perfect location for a quick spring break getaway with 4 kids. Tom accommodated our early arrival which was wonderful with 4 kiddos anxious to swim! The condo was beautiful, clean and very spacious. The view from the balcony was really great (we even saw manatees!) Our group really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings and early morning with coffee! We loved the easy access to the pool and waterpark and the beach was just a short walk! It was a really great trip that all of us enjoyed and we can't wait to come back!

Family vacation!

We celebrated my uncle’s 70th and surprised him. We had an amazing time at Splash Harbor spending time with friends and family. Perfect location to bars and restaurants, walks on the beach. The host was very helpful and responded in a timely manner and great to work with. The condo was nice, clean and the views from the balcony were amazing. Highly recommend and would return!

Unit not well maintained

Nice location but the unit was not well maintained. The furniture was old and dirty, lights, ice maker didn’t work and the washer had mold in it and smelled terrible. The complex was not clean and elevators were dirty and smelled bad. Definitely not worth the money!

Beautiful water view from the condo. Accommodations very clean and comfortable. Minutes from beach. Family enjoyed volleyball court right next to condo. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Outstanding communication from property owner. Highly recommend if you are coming to this area.

Family Vacation

Great location - close to restaurants, water park, and the beach. The owner was so wonderful in his communication with the check-in process. area favorites and fun options during our stay, and the check-out process. We will definitely use this rental again.

Lovely area

We enjoyed our stay, from the location the ease of getting around and the condo. The parking garage was a nightmare as it doesn’t turn around you have to back up with no available spots. It’s hard to figure out the elevator without getting out on arrival. The condo was decorated cute, the views amazing and the location was perfect for our family. Actual functions of the condo needed some attention- the hot water in bathroom sink didn’t work unless you turned cold on. The bedroom pocket door didn’t lock, the key for the main door wasn’t secured inside the plastic and fell out several times. Some minor things for the week, but we enjoyed the facilities and had a wonderful family vacation. For a group our size we felt we needed more towels, we had 4 bath and 4 beach, 9 of us.

Graduation/retirement

Was looking for a place to get all our boys together while we still can. They are older and started their own careers, and we wanted to get away and have fun as a family. Loved all that Indian Rocks and Clearwater had to offer. Great night out at Crabby Bills, Slyce, the Mexican restaurant, and of course the ice cream shop with 140 flavors, all within in walking distance. The pool was nice but we were over run with the children since school is out locally. Loved the drinks at the pool bar! We also met with relatives who live in the region.

Splash Condo

First Tom is a great host. He’s communication though out the whole process was great! I stayed there with family on memorial day weekend. Location was great, only a short walk to the beach, and several restaurants within walking distance. The Splash Harbor was a bonus and awesome way to cool down and watch the kids play. I definitely would stay there again and would highly recommend.
