Amazing week with my family! The house was very clean and all the amenities made for an easy, relaxing getaway. The large deck, nestled in the woods, had great views and was a lovely space for outside dining. The cabin's location is just a quick drive to the adorable town and has easy access to great hiking and other attractions. Highly recommended for families looking to get away.

My Husband, my brother, two nephews and I stayed here for four nights in May. The cabin had everything we needed, including silence, a great view at every angle, things to do on rainy days, and ambience all day long. We took day trips to Lake Placid, Ticonderoga, the natural Bridge and Caves, and several small towns in the area. Perfect for unplugging and just getting away from the every day. We definitely want to go back.

My family of 5 and our pug had a wonderful stay. This log cabin is absolutely fantastic! The minute you walk through the door it felt welcoming. The cabin is very clean and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Kristin is an amazing host and very responsive. The cabin is a 5-minute drive into town, where you will find a few restaurants, a great coffee shop and a grocery store. You definitely need 4-wheel drive to get up the driveway--it is very steep. Our family will definitely request to stay at this cabin again the next time we visit Gore Mountain. Thank you!

This was our second Thanksgiving we have spent in this cabin. We absolutely love it! The layout is perfect for our family and the amenities are next level. The house is fully equipped to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. My kids love the game room and all the little extras the owners have. The house is spotless. We will be back for sure!

We booked a last minute trip and was not disappointed. The views of the lake are awesome and calls of Loons. Lots of hiking along with night sky views and close to other locations for a variety of things to do. Krystin was wonderful in communication. A great place!

We took advantage of the outdoor spaces - deck, fire pit, and lean-to (not pictured but a highlight) - and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin has everything you need, beds are comfortable, and each room had a fan. The main living space was smaller than expected, but the deck made up for this. We’d return based on our experience.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck sipping our morning coffee. The AWD SUV we rented handled the steep driveway without any issues. Kristyn was responsive to our questions. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary items needed to prepare some of my favorite dishes. This house is well located for a night at the opera at the Seagle Festival in Schroon Lake, a day trip to the Shelburne Museum in VT, or a trip to Saratoga Springs for shopping and the race track. Highly recommend this quiet haven for a vacation.

The log house was as described and offered a very relaxing stay. It had everything you could possibly need from kitchen tools, wood for the fire, games, cable, a/c. The house was dusty which caused my son with dust and dog allergies to suffer, but if you don’t have allergies you probably wouldn’t have any problems. Also the couches in the living room have lost their support so they weren't the most comfortable. But the beds and everything else were very comfortable. The host was very responsive with any questions we had and we would definitely stay here again!

The home is gorgeous with stunning sunrise views every morning looking out over Schroon lake. Our family of five had every thing we could ever want at our disposal board games, xbox, music, ping pong, air hockey, a cozy fireplace and a full size kichen to bring us together for meals. Town was only 3 miles away, with tons of restaurants and a cute coffee shop, grocery store and lake frontage, Gore mountain is just 20 minutes away and Lake George 30 minutes! Yet when you are in the cabin you felt like you were a million miles away from the world! Relaxation at its finest! The owners are the friendliest, most accommodating Vrbo hosts I've dealt with thus far and I cannot wait to return this summer and see what this Lake has to offer thats just 3 minutes down the road!! How exciting!!!

I just wanted to say that our stay at this wonderful log cabin overlooking a lake and mountains couldn’t have been more wonderful. The house was super clean and everything was up to date - exactly like the photos. Kristyn was super attentive and was always available if we needed her. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods with incredible views then you have found your stay. We will definitely go back!

We loved our stay in this cozy log cabin. It was even better than the description. Everything we needed was there… brand new pots and pans, even a pizza cutter. Ping pong and darts were lots of fun, and the Wi-Fi was great. Perfect ski getaway… I’d love to come back in the summer.

We had a wonderful time away at this cabin in the woods, and enjoyed several of Kristyn’s great hike and restaurant recommendations. We especially loved both the firepit and the fireplace, and the view from the deck overlooking Schroon Lake and the beautiful fall colors was stupendous.

Loved staying at this beautiful log cabin tucked in the woods with great lake views. The home was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Communications from the host were timely and thorough. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Loved relaxing on the spacious deck overlooking the lake. Will definitely look to stay again!

This is a beautiful home with a picturesque view! Our family felt at home. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement and the loft area! Would highly recommend this to a group looking for some peace and quiet!

The cabin was just as advertised - with even more impressive views! Check in and out was easy with the electronic personal code, and the hosts were always responsive and helpful in all communication. It was a perfect place for a summer week for our family of 4 (with room to spare). Adults appreciated the amazing view, deck, and well equipped cabinets. Kids appreciated the well stocked board games, fire pit, and air hockey in the basement. We all appreciated the privacy and fresh air!

Cabin is beautiful, it’s our third year in a row, first time with the new owners. Communication was so quick. Cabin has everything you could need and the view is breathtaking. Only negative I would say is the AC doesn’t cool the top floor that much so we slept on the main floor a couple nights, but for perspective we like it cold and keep our house at 69. The mosquitoes were everywhere but it was rainy when we were there and it is the woods, bring some bug spray. We love the lake and we love the cabin, we look forward to coming back next year!

This little cabin was way better than expected. Clean, all the info from the site and pictures matched everything. Absolutely no disappointments! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, just to get away from reality for a few days. This place is definitely the place to stay if you are looking to unwind your mind, breath a little bit and to be in nature, enjoy the peacefulness.

Kristyn & Steve’s property was absolutely gorgeous! Kristyn & Steve did a fantastic job making their home feel like our home away from home! We seriously had the best stay ever, the property had everything we needed and so much more! This cabin is extremely cozy for a getaway and we will defiantly be staying here again. We absolutely loved our time here and did not want to leave. We had so much fun playing board games, watching movies, and playing ping pong!! Seriously, nothing was missing! Kristyn & Steve were excellent hosts! They communicated perfectly, left detailed instructions, and had amazing recommendations on places to eat and activities to do nearby. The view from their property is breathtaking! I highly recommend staying here we cannot wait to return!
