Fantastic

We loved staying at the Fly Away Home! It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We had everything we needed and more, and the hosts went above and beyone to make our stay comfortable. We are going to make this home our first choice when visiting!

Utah ski trip

The house is spacious and fit five of us comfortably and the property managers could not have been more friendly. They even left a signficant amount of food for us when we arrived. The property managers insistence on meeting us at the house as we checked in was unnecessarily challenging with the changing schedules of our party. We would have preferred to simply have the front door code in advance. But we recommend this house as a very pleasant, inexpensive way to stay in Salt Lake City.

Fantastic host great property

This property was perfect for our party of 6 with room to spare. Clean and bright, well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Property manager was fantastic - communicative and hospitable. During snow storm even dropped off food and shoveled out the driveway for us. Convenient location to shopping, grocery, restaurants, and ski resorts. Would recommend and will definitely be back for another stay.

Wonderful SLC property

This was our second year staying at Gundi and Jeromy’s property. It’s in a great location close to the airport (20 min), skiing (40 min to Brighton), shopping and restaurants. The house is exceptionally clean and always well stocked. The owners are simply amazing and will do anything to make your stay perfect. We’ll be back again next year for sure!

Clean, comfortable and convenient home in West Jordan

Fly Away Home was perfect for our month long stay to Salt Lake City! Jeromy and Gundi were great hosts and extremely accommodating. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. They even provided some food and snacks to get us started. West Jordan was central for our trips to the ski resorts and downtown Salt Lake City. I would certainly recommend Fly Away Home to other guests and would plan to stay there again if available!

A truly terrific rental property

We've been renting properties in SLC for 25 years and have NEVER met hosts like Jeromy and Gundi. They made this a truly memorable trip. Their house was super clean. It has a whole house filter keeping the air clean. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Showers (2) were good and we never ran out of hot water. And the house was stocked with amenities and food like no other rental in the US! 😃. Host Jeromy was even cleaning the grill when we arrived. When we cooked steaks a few nights later it was like using a new grill. The house is approximately a 40 minute drive to Brighton. We will definitely rent from Jeromy and Gundi for all of our upcoming trips.

Perfect for our needs

We stayed 5 nights for my son’s wedding. We have family all over the valley and this house was a perfect location for us to visit them or for them to come to us. The house was well stocked with more than we expected. Everyone who visited us was so impressed with how nice the rental was. We come to Utah often and will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Absolutely BEST ever VRBO!

Can’t say enough about our stay and how accommodating our host was. The minute I met our host they felt like family. We arrived Christmas Eve to a beautifully decorated home and food for a Christmas meal and snacks that lasted all week. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Suggestions given on skiing and other activities. We had weather issues that delayed our departure and they took care of us even then. I would love to stay here again if I make it back this way.

Lovely place to stay - Felt like home!

Gunhild and Jeromy were wonderful hosts! They were super great with communication and check in was easy. The house itself had every comfort of home. The rooms had great space, the bed was SUPER comfortable and the location close to the shopping center can't be beat. We will definitely look into staying here again for our next trip!

Like a bed and breakfast

6 of us stayed there 4 nights. Comfortable and clean house. Pros: - friendly and professional owners - clean and comfortable. Beds were good - stocked kitchen including breakfast foods, water, and Gatorade was a wonderful touch Cons: - maybe a little dated in a few places Would definitely stay there again and can recommend to others!

Great weekend getaway for our family.

We had a great experience at this property. The house is well decorated and really has a homey feel. The owners were so kind and friendly and quick to answer the couple questions we had. The food stocked in the kitchen and fridge was game changing. It was so nice to not have to run to the store the first thing to make sure we had something for breakfast. Would definitely recommend this property to others!!

Over the top hospitality!

We arrived at the home and met the owners. I thought that was unusual but I understood as I’d want to do the same if I took as much pride in my property as they do. We got a tour of the home from the charming owners and was surprised to see how well stocked it was with food and drinks, laundry supplies and even packaged toiletries for us! The home was super clean and well furnished. The owners were fantastic and our experience was a 10! Highly recommended!

Great service

We had great time in Salt Lake. We came very late and Gunhild and Jeromy Waited for as to show as around the house. House is very nice and clean. We stayed in many rentals before but this one was another level. Absolutely top. It feels like home not rental. Kitchen was fully equipped and fridge full of goods. We'll be back.
