This house was impressing when we arrived during the evening as the place was lit up giving us the 'wow' factor. There were 10 of us staying so we fitted in well. However it had a damp smell in/on the bottom floor of which we tried to 'air the place out'. There was 2 room's up top, one with the queen size bed, which I felt was really standard compared to the queen size downstairs. This room also had a smell that we could not make out what it was (strange).
Later on that evening the power went out in the bottom room and hallway as well as the top bedroom and 2nd lounge area. This had also affected the hot water tank as we had to cope with cold water for 2 days. I tried to contact the managers to no avail. I still have not heard from them (left messages on there mobile) and it has been 3 days since we left the property. I must warn people that when we booked, it looked like we were not to far from town but the trip took 20 minute's especially if you dont know the roads. Too far out for my liking. other than that, it was nice and warm inside due to the fireplace and plenty of wood to burn. Kitchen facility and stocked very well. Apart from the cold water it was nice...
