Very comfortable and well maintained cottage on the river. Everything was as described. Quiet location. Worked great as a base camp to see the Portland area and beyond.

Visited this area with a group of friends. Recently switched to VRBO so their policies were new to me. No communication about check in procedures even though I sent messages to owner. Luckily a friend suggested using the last four digits of my phone number and that worked. VRBO was not helpful either.House is as pretty. Needed dusting and windows needed cleaning. Kitchen had lots of plates, cups, etc. The dishwasher leaked.River view is gorgeous but difficult to access.Fire pit is far down and not set up for more than two people to enjoy. Front lawn is great for outdoor games. Not sure if we’d rent again but definitely not through VRBO.

We were in town for a wedding and found this wonderfully charming place perfect for my family. This cottage was appointed with everything we needed, clean and picturesque And we with circling recommend this location for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing time in the Clackamas area. Was very happy with the home and its location. We were visiting our daughter in Portland and it was 20 minutes from downtown. Home was also a great place to visit in a beautiful cozy atmosphere. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all our cooking needs and home was very clean.And the view of the river was beautiful. Loved all the windows.

The property is in a very quiet area, right next to the river. The house is well-furnished with quality couches, beds, appliances, etc. Charming house, very comfortable for our family of 4. Could easily hold more comfortably. Easy check-in (key-less entry) and check-out (strip beds, start dishwasher).

The beds are very comfortable. The views are amazing. The living room and dining room is great for visiting. The built-in hallway beds are a special touch. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher all work well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and cozy home perched above the Clackamas River. The house is very nicely updated while retaining the charm of its years. It was clean, and all the furnishings were comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed. The location was great, allowing us to visit the falls and the Fruit Loop during the day, and dine in town in the evening. We would definitely stay here again-

We enjoyed the mix of vintage and modern decor. It was fun to watch boaters on the river and and the bald eagle in the tree on the other side. Getting back out on the road would have been easier if the top end of the driveway was less sreep at the top.

Home was clean, well maintained, great place for a family or small group of people to spend quality time with. Very cozy. My only suggestion would be is to have more cooking utensils and pots/pans available as well as a few supplies like paper towels, napkins and Clorox wipes. Also, the walkway to the entry could use more lighting. But I believe the owners are working on landscaping in 2023. Otherwise, will absolutely stay there again.

This is a beautiful cabin, updated, comfortable and charming. The river location is serene, and it feels very private even though it’s just a quick drive from town & the freeway. We enjoyed our stay!
