Lydia the owner is lovely to deal with and communicates well. The pool area is brilliant also. However the house isn’t suited for large, loud families on holidays. We were a party of 12. Several problems listed below. -Poor wifi Wifi located down stairs in the bedroom, Rest of the living areas are upstairs. Therefore the wifi reception is very week upstairs. -Off peak water Major problem!!! With a house listed for 14 people, the hot water runs out after 4 or 5 showers. And won’t re heat until the following day. Absolutely ridiculous!! -Tiny fridge freezer Again too many people for a single persons fridge freezer. -Minimal pantry space Same deal, we shopped for the entire 5 days and had it delivered by coles in one hit, There was one available half sized pantry. -Bedding terrible Cheap metal frame beds, Thin mattress’s and very noisy at night, Also two mattress’s smelled like urine, no mattress protectors either -House in residential area and no mention of it We had problems with the Neigbour. There’s a lovely balcony to eat on but after 6 or 7 pm it’s of no use, considering the Neigbours have to get up for work the next day we couldn’t use it. The Neigbour had a word to me about the noise from the house, he asked we close the doors and windows. Totally understandable, however we’re on holidays and it out a damper on the mood in the evenings The property location is unsuitable for a holiday home. I don’t blame the neighbours at all. There was no mention of this fact in the listing at all. -House needs a pest spray, Seen a quite a few cockroaches in the home. -the house is also pet friendly and there was quite a bit of dog hair around the house. This was our first time at this property, We holiday every year at a property in the kangaroo valley, however this property was sadly affected by the fires. So we had to find another property on short notice. So considering this home Was $1000 cheaper than the good ones, ... you get what you pay for.
