Great Pisgah Location

This house is in a perfect location for all activities - biking, hiking, Sliding Rock, shopping, and eating. The large dining table was a plus as all 7 of us could gather to eat and play games.

Birthday party

Our stay at the Barnhouse was wonderful. It’s a unique property in a rural setting that is only minutes from both Brevard and Hendersonville. The floorplan worked great for a birthday party I put together for my girlfriend. The house is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It offers a lot of space both inside and outside and has wonderful views from both. There is also plenty of parking space. Heidi, the host, was very sweet and responded to all of my questions quickly. We all felt right at home in this cozy house.

Stayed here with a group of friends. Nice place, comfy beds. The location was great - out in the country enough to be quiet and pretty views but actually really close to shops & restaurants when we wanted them.

Old Friends, New Memories

Great place to stay. This is not a cookie-cutter rental without charm. The view from the deck is incredible.Five college buddies who are now 50 had a great time at this property. Two of us are mountain bikers and rode Dupont and Ride Rock Creek, which are close by, while the others went to play golf and tubing within earshot of the house. We also caught an Asheville Tourists' game. Wonderful weekend getaway. Clean place and great communication with host. No issues.

Apple Picking Trip

Wonderful stay in the renovated barn! Loved the big window in the living area where we even spotted a white squirrel in the tree. House was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. As advertised and communication with the owners was great. Would definitely stay again. Convenient location - we went apple picking at Jeter mountain, gem mining, walked downtown Hendersonville, and went on a short hike to Hooker falls in DuPont Forrest.

Waterfall wedding weekend

The red barn was a perfect getaway for our family of 7. Plenty of beds, plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. The property was wonderful to let the kids go wild outside and the drive was just down the road from multiple amazing hikes. With or without the kids, this property is worth a quiet getaway with plenty of space to relax

Spacious and Comfortable With Beautiful Views

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and even in the winter the views from the living room window and deck were spectacular! We had plenty of room for 6 people, including 2 married couples who each had their own large master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are smaller and less private but still adequate. All the beds were very comfortable! The kitchen is large & clean. The property owner replied quickly to all of our questions. We were very pleased with our stay and hope to stay here again during the summer.

Amazing property

We had a great time at the barnhouse! It is conveniently located near Brevard and Hendersonville. It is near some awesome hikes. The house itself was comfortable with gorgeous views! We will definitely be back!

Mountain Biking Weekend!

This property is really well placed for access to popular trails. This property is beautiful and interesting. Very comfortable for a large group with everything you need. Owners are great communicators and go out of their way to make sure you have a smooth trip. Even offered us a late check out. Highly recommended!

Mountain Views Without the Rough Hills

A converted barn with mountain Views from living room and deck. A well stocked kitchen, ready for any cooking or outdoor grilling. Comfy three bedroom, three bathroom (plus additional room suitable for kids - provided others walk thru to bathroom). Easy access or NC64, a short drive to downtown Brevard, Dupont State Forest, or Pisgah National Forest. Twenty minute drive to Asheville airport or Hendersonville, 40 mins into Asheville. Don't miss tickets to Brevard Music College for great concerts throughout the summer.

This renovated barn house was a great spot for our group on a hiking weekend in Pisgah. Clean, comfortable and private with a great view off the back porch. Just a few minutes to Brevard and Pisgah, would definitely book again!

2 Dad’s, 5 kids - had a great time! Cool barn-house in a good, convenient location. Clean comfortable beds, nice layout for groups, living room very nice just to relax in in, kitchen well stocked with everything you need to cook for groups/families. Want to come back soon.

The Perfect Thanksgiving

Very unique renovation of an old dairy barn, there were 8 of us there and we were very comfortable in the open space of the renovation, the kitchen was well stock to allow for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. All the beds were very comfortable in very spacious bedrooms. Communicating with Heidi the owner was very easy, pleasant and we did have quick response. We will recomend the House Barn for any family gathering. We will love to come back.

Great Place

Perfect Location to Brevard

This house had just the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and tons of functional space and amenities, for our family to gather for a visit with parents who live in Brevard. Because of the pandemic, it had been 18 months since we were last able to gather all together. Thank you, Heidi & Seth, for making it so easy to share your lovely home. It worked beautifully!
