Spring training holiday
The rooms and property was clean and quiet. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Very nice safe area that was easily accessible. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this vrbo to anyone. Thank you for the hospitality

Great quiet location
Very clean place that was in a quiet location but still fairly central to everywhere we went. Everything was well laid out and instructions to explain. Colleen was always quick to respond with our questions or if we needed anything. Great place, highly recommend.

Unique, Beautiful and Quiet
Selected this property working a contract in the area. Photos do not do it justice on the app. The acreage has a diversity of fruit and medicinal trees. The owners Colleen and Mike have curated an experience of serenity, friendliness and peace. Farmer Mike as Colleen has lovingly dubbed him can take you to see each and every tree and tell you its history origin; if in season you are allowed to pick fresh fruit or chew the leaves of a medicinal tree. Breakfast is served in the morning and can you imagine eating a cantaloupe that was just picked before you came to the breakfast table. It was delicious! Have you heard of Frank Lloyd wright? He's one of my favorite architects and his protege designed the home and outer buildings. History right before your eyes and it is a beautifully designed property. Are you a bird watcher? You are in for a treat because there are incredible and beautiful birds on the property that sing and fly around up in the trees. Don't forget your binoculars. Neighboring properties have all kinds of pets that you can walk down a lane and say hello to... From roosters to donkeys, horses, turtles and I'll let the others surprise you when you visit. Grounding was one of my favorite pastimes walking barefoot in the grass around the fruit trees just incredible. Colleen makes an incredible breakfast with her organic Rosemary salt that she makes which is exquisite. Add this to your list for a memorable experience you will never forget. I can't wait to return!

Perfect getaway
This is my second time staying and the place is immaculate, quiet, and decorated nicely. The rooms are stocked with basic necessities and some extras and the owners are available for anything else that might come up. Great experience!

Very Clean, Nice owners
The place was very clean, cute and cozy. I didn't spend a lot of time around the property so I cant speak about the surroundings. Although it was quiet while we were there. Colleen was super nice easy to reach and quick about responding. We had no problems and enjoyed our stay. I am from Calif. so the A/C was my favorite part of the 110 temp. I would stay here again when i come back.

Amazing Retreat!
Our suite was nicer than many higher-end resorts we have visited! Reminded me of a spa, relaxing and accommodating, with a calming, neutral color palette. We had everything we needed and more! Rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom was huge, and the owners have been so very thoughtful in every detail! Outdoor common areas were well kept, with lots of seating under the shade of the patio, lit up with little lights, with a huge barbecue grill. There was even a patio porch-swing bed. Every detail was luxurious and indulgent. This would be a great place to meet friends for a fun getaway!

Awesome Place
I have stayed at BnB’s all over the world. Country Haven Retreat has topped them all! It’s not just the location, or the amenities. It’s the whole package. The service was exemplary. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. From the little artistic signs posted in various places to help guests unfamiliar with the nuances of the environment, to little flashlights plugged in at various locations so you could find your way to the bathroom without turning on a light and disturbing your wife. Everything I needed was provided. There was even a small business space with a computer and printer. There were over 20 flavors of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided with the Keurig coffee maker in the common area. The hosts Colleen and Michael, could not have been more pleasant. They seemed to have a natural sense of when to interact and when to respect my privacy and solitude. I never needed to ask for anything but felt sure, if I did, they would be happy to accommodate. I truly enjoyed my stay here and intend to come back regularly!
