Great cottage!

Quiet, rural, peaceful cottage. Very cozy for my wife and me, who are traveling from the United States. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. The only thing we would have liked to know in advance is that we needed to supply our own laundry detergent and our own additional rolls of toilet paper, as there was only one roll.

Wonderful holiday home

We had a wonderful time in this very cozy and practical holiday apartment, which is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Cornwall. The arrival and communication with Ian were very straightforward and pleasant. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment and would return anytime. It's really ideal for two people – for four, it might be a bit too small in our opinion. For German travelers: The duvet is typically English, meaning it is one large duvet for the entire bed – if you prefer to sleep with separate duvets as a couple, you should bring your own.

January Get-Away..

Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay.

Lovely Location

Good location both rural, plus close to Porth beach and my relations. However, the accommodation was very poor. Grubby, tired and shabby. An armchair I needed to cover with my dressing gown, not fit to sit on, corroded hot plates etc etc etc. I have photos to evidence my comments. Saving grace, effective storage heaters!

Stress Free!

I took my teenage son to Cornwall so he could experience the joys of this county as I did when I was his age! Jill and Ian made the stay stress free! A lovely little cottage, arrival and check in was easy. Directions took the stress out of getting there. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really clean and good storage. Easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. A thoroughly enjoyable week, thank you!!

Another amazing stay

2nd year here and 3rd year booked as place is fantastic (lovely and clean) and location the best we have seen since travelling Cornwall. Hosts are great and it was a lovely touch to get there and find milk and tea kit waiting. Communication throughout was great and me and my wife had a fantastic holiday and can't wait for our next one.

Lovely little place

We stayed for 4 nights and was great for what we needed, clean and basic it was great. Only thing I would say is that you need a car if your up for hiking around especially into the town centre, was a lovely beach not far but still a bit of a hilly walk if your not too mobile. Could do with a couple of beach chairs to take to beach which would fit in the little cupboard, I have stayed in a few rental properties in which these were provided but only a suggestion.

Great location and lovely property can't wait for our next stay

Me and my wife loved our stay here so much we have already booked it again. The location is great as its far away from the busy parts of Newquay with excellent beaches within walking distance. The check in was great and easy and the attention to detail from the hosts with the welcome pack and communication throughout being fantastic. Parking was worry free with lots of space. This was our first trip to Cornwall and we travelled around seeing most of what Cornwall has to offer always thinking it was nice but not as good as the Porth and were we were staying. Only thing that could have topped the stay would have been a freezer for ice packs as we had packed lunches most days we went out. Thank Ian Jill
